Retreat to this newly listed, elegant, gated Tuscan Villa, and separate private Casita, where Italian-influenced architecture combines with Spanish-influenced design to create exquisite Old World charm. The Villa has 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms and boasts a bright, fully-equipped kitchen, which opens to a quaint backyard, for exquisite inside and outside dining. The interior is immaculately decorated for sophisticated living. Stairs lead from the main floor living area with kitchen, dining room, powder room, family room and living room to the second floor master suite, guest bedrooms and guest bath. A private Casita, has an additional bedroom, kitchenette, a full bathroom, and opens to it's own secret garden. The property has off-street parking for up to three cars. Please note that the attached garage and storage building are not included in the rental. Exterior security cameras are located on the front driveway, right side of the property and back patio.

We had a beautiful stay with plenty of space for our immediate family and the separate casita was perfect for our wedding presider. Lovely decoration, outdoor space, and parking over a busy La Jolla weekend was especially helpful. Location was fantastic for all that we needed to do for our son's wedding at a church very close. Stairs are to be planned for, but not a problem for our group at all. Felt very private as set back from the road with parking in the front. Great hostess guided our early check-in and 3 sets of keys worked well for us. Security gates appreciated. 5 stars. This was a splurge for our family but for this very special occasion it was worth it for walkability to wedding activities and hair salon. Last minute we learned that there was a festival blocking off many streets in town for the full weekend so the parking in the front of the house made our whole experience more enjoyable. We hope to return one day but for now we are so grateful we had this perfect home away from home for this busy and important weekend.

We were visiting La Jolla for our daughter’s wedding, and this home was the perfect gathering place for our family, with plenty of space to relax, celebrate, and make memories together.My favorite part? The stunning art and décor! The owner has filled the home with treasures from their travels, and it felt so special to live among such unique, heartfelt pieces. It truly felt like a home, not just a rental.Highly recommend — we would come back in a heartbeat! We had an amazing stay in La Jolla for a wedding and couldn’t have picked a better villa. The location was perfect—close to everything, so we could walk everywhere. Morning strolls along the Coast Walk were a highlight, and we loved being able to walk to the beach for sunsets. At the same time, there was plenty of space for our large vehicle, which made trips into San Diego easy. The villa itself was perfect—one of the nicest places we’ve had the pleasure to stay at. Highly recommend!

This home is luxury at its finest, from the home design, to the decor, to the landscape; it is all top notch. The owner and property manager were very attentive when we reached out with a small issue. They replied within 10 minutes and a solution was in place not too long after that. We were on a weekend getaway trip with good friends (2 couples). The property was great! Walkable to places in La Jolla, easy to uber to other places in San Diego. Clean, and spacious property. Lots of parking in the driveway. The property managers were awesome! We were arriving early in the day and they allowed us to drop off our suitcases at the house before check in so we could walk around and grab a bite to eat. They were quick to respond. This is a great location to stay in La Jolla.

We had a small family reunion with kids and 2 young grandchildren this weekend in San Diego. This house was perfect for us…. Comfortable, spotlessly cleaned, and the perfect location. We enjoyed the large dining room table for meals…the living room was quite comfortable. Beds were so comfy and everyone slept well after long days at the zoo and tide pools! Many thanks

The home is clearly loved, all the details being well-attended to. We enjoyed having real plants throughout the house, and the art is moving, thoughtful, and impressive. As a group of ten with four kids, the location--walkable to all parts of La Jolla's Cove and village helped our stay feel grounded in the gorgeous environment and relaxed in our ease of movement.

I cant say enough good things about this beautiful home in La Jolla. Truly a Villa with great views and amazing furnishings. The best part was the location, as we were able to walk to coffee houses, galleries, restaurants and the La Jolla Cove to visit the seals & sea lions each morning. What a treat! The Villa has a inviting vibe with unique and delightful pieces of art & collectives.It is obvious that Michael has lived a life of adventure and color.We all had plenty of room and privacy, the bedding was elegant and comfortable & the home was fully stocked. We enjoyed this home so much! Will definitely return to La Jolla & the Villa.

The bar was set as high as you get on a vacation rental property. As per all the other reviews, I will join them by saying, “you don’t need to look any further, this is your dream rental property.” To start, the property manager was prompt and friendly. The hospitality started with a warm welcome and perfectly detailed information to get situated in their home. There are spare keys and gate openers well labeled and located. There was plenty of parking behind the gate for 3 cars. The home itself is perfection. It smells wonderful, it’s super clean, and it’s warm and inviting. It’s a large home, but it feels very cozy. We enjoyed cooking meals and playing jazz from our phone on their Bluetooth speakers connected to the television. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook or bake. We enjoyed many home cooked meals and there is a large dinning table and kitchen nook. The home is walking distance to everything, including an amazing grocery store and the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. My son attends school near La Jolla and we will return to this property again. It really felt like a home away from home. Can’t recommend this property any higher. It’s a must! I’m so lucky I found it!

Our extended family came to La Jolla for our niece's wedding and stayed at this wonderful house. The house had plenty of room (especially for a wedding weekend when everyone was getting ready). We spent most of our time enjoying the kitchen area for breakfast and lunch and enjoying family time together. The casita provided some extra space, was very comfortable and where my wife and I stayed. The house is very centrally located in town and was within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and most of the wedding activities. We loved our stay and look forward to returning to La Jolla for a family vacation.

The Villa was incredible! Impeccably clean, exquisitely furnished, and very comfortable as well. The master bedroom and en-suite bathroom are giant. We stayed with our 3 children ages 3-7 and my elderly parents. Having the casita was a special touch to allow the grandparents space for peace and quiet. Really nice touches including Nespresso machine, ping-pong table, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella. Amazingly only a 5 min walk to the heart of La Jolla and the stunning cliffs. A short 5 min drive to La Jolla Shores beach. Gabriella was the most responsive host I've ever had the pleasure to interact with--she responded promptly to any inquiry both prior to and throughout the stay, and sent clear communication regarding check in and check out. Would stay again anytime we are back in the San Diego area.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to La Jolla. This property is ideally located in the heart of La Jolla within walking distance of everything. The bed in the primary suite is very comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, and it is very quiet at night. Our only complaint is that the WiFi is a bit spotty. We let management know, so they should fix it for guests in the future. We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again, and I really appciated the excellent communication with the host. It's truly a five-star property!

We stayed here with my wife, 2 year old, mom, brother, and sister in law for our other brother's wedding in La Jolla. The house is beautiful and in a great spot. We rarely used our car since La Jolla has a lot to offer and this place is right there. If you are considering this place, pull the trigger and stay here! But there are a few things were a bit of a miss for us: - The kitchen has 1 seat for eating. The formal dining room is the next room over so no big deal, but our family likes to eat more casually, especially with a toddler. There is a breakfast nook but no table, there is one counter stool with space for 2, and the other chairs are not conducive for eating on. An additional counter stool and a table in the nook would be easy additions to make this space more usable - Since we walked everywhere, we needed to use keys to get in and out of the gate. Since there were many of us, we had to leave the set of keys in the lockbox which is tedious to open each time you want to go through the gate. Other than the keys in the lockbox and 2 gate remote openers, there was one key ring with the gate key + casita key, and another with 4 keys that didn't seem to include the gate (maybe I just failed here). I would have appreciated something like: 3 sets with gate + house, 2 sets with gate + casita, and 1 set with gate + house + casita

The home was lovely… we were able to proudly host an intimate wedding party rehearsal dinner at this well-appointed, beautifully decorated house the night before our daughter’s wedding at “the wedding bowl” and Cuvier Club. Our adult children and son-in-law’s grandfather stayed comfortable for three nights. Walking distance to the village and the wedding venue. Beyond our expectations! Gabriella was an exceptional host and as able to get us an early check in the day we moved in. First class all the way!

The house was exactly as described. It was in the perfect location for our niece's wedding, walking distance to everything. There is also lots of things withing walking distance to this location. We enjoyed our stay. It was the hottest weekend in San Diego and we could not figure out if the property had A/C until our third day at the house. ) - ; Our only suggestion would have been a quick instruction on how to turn on the A/C in the house handbook. We truly believed it did not have one as normally San Diego is so pleasant and it cools off so nicely. I'm sure if we weren't running around doing lots for the wedding, I could have reached out and would have been told how to turn it on. The property manager was super responsive to my earlier inquires and also after we had left the property. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for a wedding with friends and were able to stay in this lovely home for a long weekend. The home is incredible - pictures do not do it justice!! All four couples in our group had plenty of space and privacy. The home was warm and inviting and had any and all amenities you could need. The location was perfect as well, walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants and the beach! The check in/out process was a breeze! I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Stayed here with three generations of family members. Absolutely fantastic in every way walkable to restaurants and scenic sites. Easy drive to the zoo and aquarium. Check in process was so easy. I know there are a lot of options out there but this is the one you want. The pics of the property do it no justice, it is an absolutely fantastic property and the location couldn’t be better. This is one of the cleanest properties I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in several. The parking on the property alone for being that close to the beach is enough to make this the one to choose. It has all the amenities one could want, and some that we didn’t even know how we ever lived without like the bagel toaster. Great chef kitchen for cooking, and the extra kitchen in the casita was a game changer. It even has undercounter drawer coolers. The casita out back has a full bathroom with a shower. The master bed is like its own suite. Worldly furniture and paintings throughout the whole house. Lots of exotic cooking sundries that I wish I had the time and skills to use properly. Access to the property was easy from the directions of the owner. Everything was fully functional with no surprises. It was actually refreshing to not have to contact the owner about anything. Price point on this property vs others in the surrounding areas this is a steal. I hope to stay at this property again soon.

The Villa is a beautiful property with touches of Spain throughout the home. Our grandkids loved that we could walk to see the sea lions and it was a short drive to from the home to Legoland. The ping pong table was a big hit with my adult boys. Property is well-maintained and all of the amenities were as advertised. Only suggestion from my crew was the addition of fans for stuffy weather days and nights. We all think this property is a gem in La Jolla and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed this memorable and elegant, well located villa. The communications from the hosts were warm and helpful from start to finish, as if we were welcomed guests and not their temporary renters. Our trip was for a family wedding, so we took most of our meals and activities about town at invited venues and were quite busy for the 4 days of our stay. Yet we marveled at the tasteful furnishings and design features in this spectacular home, and felt comfortable and very lucky to be here to rest peacefully at night. I heard night birds trying to find one another in the lush vegetation around the villa. Just as we were, they were drawn to the gorgeous setting from the moment they found it!
