    I recently stayed at La Praia, and I can say without hesitation that I would choose this hotel again in a heartbeat. First and foremost, the value for money here is amazing. For a very reasonable price, you get a modern, clean, and comfortable room set against lovely green surroundings (I had room #308). The location is excellent—it is situated very close to the sea, train station, and the stunning town of Tropea, making exploring the area incredibly convenient. Furthermore, the nearby beach and sea are absolutely beautiful, perfect for relaxing days under the sun. What really sets this place apart, though, is its authentic Italian atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive. A special mention must go to the owner: while he has a very straightforward and authentic personality, it is clear that he genuinely cares about the hotel and his guests. He works tirelessly to constantly improve the property, and his dedication is what makes La Praia so special. It’s exactly the kind of genuine hospitality that makes people want to come back again and again. If you are looking for an authentic, high-value, and welcoming stay near Tropea, look no further!

    Amazing stay really close from the beach. We had a big room with huge terrace overlooking the coast. Sunset view from the balcony was very nice. The only thing needs to be considered is that it is located quite far from a reachable cafes or restaurant, so probably best book it with breakfast especially on a Sunday.

    Very good value for money. The room looks new and was very comfortable. We have a sea view from there and it was possible to park a car in front of the room. The staff was very helpful.
