Good location

Where to start? For that price everything is awful! From the receptionist, to the disgusting room, to the dirty towels. Its a disgrace that this hotel has 4 starts, its even a disgrace its recommended! Honestly, im appalled and disappointed with everything about this hotel.

Great location, 100 metres from main ao nang street and the beach, and a seven eleven right next door! Clean spacious rooms and nice pool, and a warm welcoming staff.

Breakfast can be improved. Also, there is no elevator so if you gotta tow your luggage 2 flights of stairs, that's on you, although staff will help. A telephone in the room will be handy as there is no way to contact the front office, and even their regular number is not on WhatsApp.

First I'd like to mention that we didn't expect luxury, but especially considering the price, the conditions are entirely outrageous and in no way should any person ever be allowed to sleep in such a place. the accommodation shouldn't even be called a,, hotel,, let alone a resort. The room we were assigned was a standard triple, at a low level. the issue was that the second you stepped in the room, you were hit with a foul stench of mold, and we quickly discovered that it was all over the room. the curtains were dirty, the bathtub was filthy beyond repair and as mold attracts bugs, you could expect we caught many of them. Not to mention the thousands of mosquitos, and although I've heard it's normal around this time of year and place, there are plenty of accommodations that work on that issue. So far, it blatantly showed the lack of care from the management team to invest in the place and care for their customers. The first night, we weren't able to change the room as we were told the hotel was at full capacity. (we didn't ask for an upgrade, just a comfortable room in which you could sleep in, preferably without mold). the next day, we requested to speak with the manager, who just didn't show up. then, the receptionist gave us a different room to sleep in for the night, until we could try to speak to the manager the following day. To our surprise (or rather not) this room also stunk of mold, although not visible. Ultimately, we chose not to change to the second room, as it hardly made any difference and we would only stay for three nights, but even so, the smell was absolutely unbearable, to the point where we had to leave the ac on 24/7 in hopes that it would tune it out. Finally, I want to clarify that in no way was the staff at fault, they were kind and did everything they could to help and accommodate us, it was clearly the fault of the management team and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Good location, good pool

They only allow one pillow per person. If you request an extra pillow they charge 200 THB per pillow per night, this is not something I have encountered at any hotel before. Rooms and facilities not the cleanest

Bad WiFi and AC, the breakfast was underwhelming, there were small bugs on the food, there was a bad smell in the room.

The location was close to the main road for shopping and the beach. Staff were polite and helpful.

Very run down! The pool was disgusting! Pool should have been closed, it was filthy, full of floaties and algae- feral! Room was dusty and dirty, door to balcony wouldn’t close properly, a/c would sometimes decide to cut out. Bathroom had a bathtub with a curtain that didn’t surround the bath and a shower head that was hung by my knees with a hose not long enough to put above my head. And what’s up with no screens between the bathroom and room? After your morning allusions your room just smells like ass. Breakfast would have been better to not exist, the jam was some sort of weird paste, the coffee tasted like my feet after a day at the beach and the juice was more concentrate than water. We ended up leaving after 2 nights.

Has been left to run down. Worn away coatings, broken fixtures. Bath towels were often rags with holes. Breakfast was often cold as staff had not turned on Bain Maree’s. No phone in room or room service. Bed configuration was annoying as bed was against a wooden divider so had to climb in from the end.

Ao Nang Bay Resort was only a short walk from the main streets it was quiet at night. Happy Hour from 3-5pm in the swim up bar.

Areas of the pool /hotel need some TLC. Not a major issue but it wouldn’t take much to spruce up the hotel.

Very nice Hotel with good location. Close to both parts of Ao Nang. Room was large with very good air conditioning. Good vegetarian breakfast was served on request. Pool with swim in bar was also very nice.

Breakfast could offer a bit more but is totally fine!

If you're searching for affordability and comfort, then this is the perfect spot for you. The hotel is located in a fairly good area and offers a decent breakfast. The room had most of the amenities we needed, and the beds were quite comfortable. We were pleased with the beach towels that the hotel provided and the pool was nice.

If you're a vegetarian you'll struggle with the breakfast at this hotel and might be better off just getting something at one of the local cafes. Many hotel rooms in Thailand have a window between the bathroom and bedroom, and this hotel is no exception. Though the window has curtains and a wooden panel with decorative motifs, it allows light inside the room at night due to the windows in the bathroom.

The family room was spacious with a groovy bathroom. The pool was great, almost too warm. Staff friendly and helpful.

The beds had a thin topping matress than moved around and at times affected the pillow positions.

At breakfast we were very surprised with the variety of vegetarian food choices we had . Days began very very well. Staff were very friendly and the location is one of the best in Ao Nang

No tea bags provided in room was told to buy my own. That the pictures shown of teabags in the room on booking.com were old.They no longer provide them. Room was old not like the photos I was shown , toilet roll holder was broken and toilet paper was left on vanity. Shower curtain was missing hooks , Air con did not work , wifi was slow, refused to move our room. Bed was hard. And when advised the manager told me that I was the issue and would give a refund 🙄

The size of the room was big. The breakfast is ok, but not great. The staff is very kind and helpful. The pool is nice.

The place needs some serious updating. All bathroom artifacts look outdated, and so do the room furniture and the refrigerator. The TV is small for the size of the room. There is no phone in the room and you are instructed to use your cell phone to call the front desk using an app; so there is the problem, you need to download an app on your phone which I am reluctant to do for short-term purposes. The facility did not look very clean, but was not terrible either, somewhere in the middle. There is no air conditional at the front desk/reception area neither at the breakfast room.

Great location and everything you need in close proximity. Bike hire,day trips,washing service and cash exchange and a two minute walk to the beach there’s great food and drinks market on the left.

Loved the massive bath and it filled in no time.

Double bed small with poor quality pillows. Due to greenery around the place is infested with mosquitos. It got so bad we asked the cleaners not to clean the rooms as they leave the doors open when they clean.
