Infested with bugs and in bed- stay away

Please do not stay here, there is an insect infestation and when trying to speak to the owners they were terrible. We are a nice clean couple and just wanted a nice holiday and we’re very badly bitten. We didn’t get an apology and I will copy the reply of the email on the next section with their threats. We left the place really clean. They send you a list of tasks you have to complete upon departure which is ridiculous when you’re on holiday but we did it and they are still complaining. I’m now taking legal action and I’m not letting it drop. See next section for their response. Be warned this is not some argument. If you stay here you will be itching for the entire stay and will probably end up with disease and need antibiotics. France has a few cases of African infestations and this is what we believe is the case This email from the owner Dear Sarah, I apologize if you had a bad stay. I'm sincerely sorry. Of course, if you have any photos, I'd be interested in seeing them. I can't let you claim there's an insect infestation. I came by on Sunday before your arrival and everything was fine. And Maggie did note the presence of flying insects, as she does in any home where the windows are left open at night during periods of extreme heat. In my house too (I live next door), there have been a lot of them in recent days. You can't hold us responsible for the climate. Indeed, when we open the windows of rooms during a heatwave, flying insects sometimes take refuge there. They are attracted by the light or even the relative coolness. As for the bites, you didn't show them to Maggie. She may have seen a mosquito bite on your partner, a photo of which she sent me. This obviously doesn't justify any refund. As for your threats, I urge you to be cautious. I can also report your attempted extortion to Booking.com to have your account blocked. We have an excellent rating on the platform. No one has ever behaved like you.

Petit logement cosy, joliment décoré. Situation proche des transports. Simplicité d'accès avec boîte à clefs. Logement propre, bien équipé. Sentiment de sécurité.

Ascenseur tout petit ne permettant pas une poussette et le bruit des travaux du voisinage durant notre séjour. Les joies de la vie en appartement !

Wundervoll

Wir waren mit allem super zufrieden. Das Appartement ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber. Unser Highlight war der Ausblick aus dem Fenster auf den Eiffelturm. Bäckereien und der Supermarkt sind praktisch um die Ecke. Der Bahnhof ist ca. 5 Min. fußläufig und man ist in nur 2 Stationen in Paris Montparnasse, von wo aus man überall in Paris dann mit der U-Bahn hinfahren kann. Da Parken in den Straßen sehr teuer und eher nicht zu empfehlen ist, habeb wir über die „Yespark“-App einen Parkplatz in einer Tiefgarage in der Nähe vorab gebucht. Unser Auto war somit sicher untergebracht. Clamart hat uns sehr gefallen! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

Excellent séjour, restaurants et commerçants à proximité immédiate.

L'organisation du logement, tout en façade et en hauteur, donc très clair. Cuisine et salle de bain très bien équipées. Bonne literie, équipement wifi ok ! Contact avec l'hôte très bon.

**ajout** : rien à voir avec la qualité du logement, mais plutôt avec la conciergerie Exigehome. Celle-ci m'a frauduleusement accusé d'avoir brisé la télévision (que nous n'avions pourtant jamais allumée), et a ainsi ponctionné ma caution d'entrée d'environ 300€. En l'absence d'un état des lieux réunissant loueur et conciergerie au terme du séjour, Exigehome a ainsi toute liberté d'affirmer ce qu'elle veut. J'ai bien sûr immédiatement déposé une main courante auprès du commissariat. Attention donc.... **ajout du 19 janvier, à la lecture de la réponse d'Exigehome (cf. plus bas). "Bien sûr que cette somme m'a été frauduleusement défalquée de ma caution, votre réponse est stupide, vous me l'avez d'ailleurs ressortie à maintes reprises lorsque je vous ai eu au téléphone! Pourquoi voudriez-vous que je perde du temps sur cette si médiocre mésaventure, et pour une somme au demeurant si minime (300€), j'ai bien sûr d'autres choses à faire dans la vie. Ainsi que je l'expliquais au policier qui a reçu et rédigé ma main-courante au commissariat de Vanves, en définitive je ne demande même pas que cette somme me soit restituée, elle pourrait être versée à une quelconque association de bienfaisance que ça ne me dérangerait pas! Mais qu'on ne me dise pas que pendant mon séjour j'ai brisé une télé, alors que celle-ci ne fut d'ailleurs jamais allumée ! Ainsi que je vous l'ai expliqué (sans que je vous ne le compreniez d'ailleurs), puisqu'à mon départ la télé était intacte, ce ne peut être que le personnel de nettoyage qui, lors d'un geste malencontreux (balais, aspirateur, etc.) l'a faite tomber au sol. Un incident minime et banal qui aurait dû se régler avec votre assurance classique, et non pas en piochant abusivement dans ma caution, quelle honte !"
