Apartment Arija

The apartment was fantastic, super family-friendly, cozy, and spacious, with incredibly comfortable beds and an outdoor table and chairs, what can I say, we were surrounded by nature, and it was wonderful! Our hosts, Dragana and Željko, were waiting to welcome us and had left us chocolats, white wine, bread, jam, coffee pods, coffee creamers, pasta, olive oil, juice, water, salt, and more. They even had parking for our car. Nothing was missing! On the second day, they invited us to a "summer kitchen" gathering. We didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be a get-together at their home with their family, complete with food, fresh fish fished by Željko himself and drinks, and they made us feel just like family. They told us to just let them know if we needed anything, and they said it with such genuine sincerity. They introduced us to their wonderful family. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, it’s clear where the family gets it from! They also invited us for a drink, treated us with delicious figs from their trees, stored our luggage on our last day, and even gave us souvenirs. They are absolutely amazing people. Their grand daughter even gave us handmade bracelets she had crafted, she is a sweetheart. I must say, it will be hard to find hosts who could overcome Dragana and Željko's hospitality and warmth. We have never been welcomed or treated as well as we were by them. We truly hope Dragana and her family can visit Portugal someday so we can return the wonderful hospitality they showed us. All the best to this wonderful couple!

Everything was PERFECT!

The house was incredible. Not the typical AirBnB apartment of any sort. It was an actual cozy house to live in. The hosts were extremely polite, hospitable, kind and helpful! They provided us with everything we asked for. They even invited us to have a drink together and made us a complimentary breakfast for goodbye. The house was extremely well prepared for people with pets. The hosts were very pet friendly. The location is quiet and peaceful. The location is perfect if you are visiting the beaches near Nin, Vir and the other towns with car or taxi.

The boiler for hot water is sometimes not enough for three people, and most definitely not enough for 4 people. You would need to wait a little bit for more hot water to be ready. You would need a taxi to get to the old town, or you would need to walk 40-50 minutes.

El apartamento es grande y muy cómodo. Tiene todas las comodidades. Tiene parking gratuito en la entrada de la casa. Tiene una terraza muy agradable. Dragana y Zeljko súper amables. Recomendable cien por cien.

Todo nos gusto

Dragana and Željko have been the best hosts I have encountered so far in all countries or places myself or me and my family have been. Even though the checking was supposed to be at 3.30pm, they let us check in around 9am as we travelled from Prague to Zadar extremely early (woke up 3 am, plane taking off 6.10, arrived in Zadar 7.30...) with twins 5 years of age. We were greeted, we had a nice surprise in the kitchen waiting for us, there were toys for kids... PERFECT!! I highly recommend the location, it's not that far from the city center, and really close to the nice beaches Croatia has to offer around (Borik, Queen's beach...), plus it is extremely quiet during the night, which is a big plus.

I cannot think about anything, maybe travelling a bit later (September), when the kiwis are ready to be picked up and degusted :)
