Good Value for Location and Privacy

I really liked having a room to myself with a private bathroom. For the price I paid, I must say that thing alone was what made my stay pleasant. Also, the location was great, being very close to Moorfields station. Another thing I liked very much was having a kitchen and a laundry place.

Unfortunately, the kitchen had an unpleasant smell due to rubbish not being taken out for several days, and it also appeared to lack regular cleaning. When I arrived in my room, I discovered there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I asked the staff, who kindly provided a roll, but also mentioned that guests are expected to buy their own. This seems unreasonable for a one-week stay—just as towels and hairdryers are provided, toilet paper should also be included. My room also lacked a bin for everyday rubbish, which made it inconvenient to keep the space tidy. Another suggestion would be to sell laundry pods or include them in the wash cycle, as I had to purchase a whole pack of pods for just two loads of laundry.

Great price for a central Liverpool location

The best part of my stay were the friendly and helpful staff. Rarely can you tell that someone truly enjoys their job, and it was a breath of fresh air. They were exceedingly kind and gave me tips on what to do during my stay. They were always quick to solve issues in the apartment.

I stayed in two rooms during my time here. One room had a broken chair, and the other had faulty drawers. During my stay (just before I left), the staff were busy prepping new furniture, etc for the new year. So just something to keep in mind if you're staying around late August-early September time, that there may be one or two things out of place. But I can't fault the staff as they were happy to fix these problems once you let them know.

Very nice place to stay but misleading online check-in process (student ID is asked)

Misleading check-in process prior to arrival. You receive several messages to check-in online. This process requires you to upload your student ID. However, non students can also stay here but the online process requires this student ID step. Slow communication with staff via booking.

The staff are excellent and make you feel looked after. The accommodation was excellent

I was not sure what type of accommodation I was going to stay in was like, but when I set my eyes on it I just fell in love with the place and even posted some videos of my room and kitchen I took to my friends who loved it the way I did. First I would like to applaud the staff members who were excellent they took me through from booking in and showing me the facilities explaining everything. My friends are looking forward to using your accommodation in future.

A great base to explore the lovely city of Liverpool

The staff were SO friendly and accommodating. The room and ensuite were clean and the bedding and towels felt clean and of good quality. It was great to have use of the kitchen too. It was about half an hour's walk down to the Albert Dock. Everywhere was easy walking distance from the accommodation.

Loo roll was not provided, neither were crockery and cutlery. This doesn't appear to have been mentioned in any of the literature from Booking.com, however, I rang the accommodation direct to ask and they suggested I take a cup and anything else I might need in the kitchen. I realise it could be a problem for the staff to store equipment, but it would be great to be able to hire these items, as I arrived with a rucksack and couldn't carry such things. Booking.com need to make this clear in their literature. When I messaged them, they said there wasn't a kitchen, I had to contact the accommodation for more clarification.

Friendliest place in Liverpool

The accommodation had an excellent location, great amenities (study room, laundry, gym, pingpong and pool table) and was nice and quiet at night. There is free coffee in reception as well, which is a nice touch. The best part was how friendly and welcoming all of the staff were (especially Kay)! They really are a credit to the accommodation and are the reason I'd stay again.

The beds are unfortunately the least comfortable beds in the world. They are so hard, it felt like sleeping on a floor. There was no handsoap provided in the ensuite bathroom, and the only light in the room is extremely bright and harsh. It was also a little bit complicated to complete the guest portal before check-in, but I managed eventually.

On arrival at 7.30pm the apartment kitchen was still being cleaned. No towels, toilet paper or shower gels in en suite. Waited at reception for 15 minutes for someone to arrive even thought received message to tell me to check in between 3pm and 8pm. On leaving the reception was again unattended at 9am. It’s a student complex in reasonable order. If offering short stays then should be geared up to facilitate.

I had a memorable experience at Glassworks Student Accommodation in Liverpool. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. die Lage war toll!

Der checkin lief über einen demotivierten unsympathischen security guard, der mit mir aufs zimmer gegangen ist- mein fob hat nicht funktioniert. Es meinte ich könne ihn wieder abholen wenn ich am nachmittag wieder ins hotel komme. Als ich wiederkam tat er so als würde er mich nicht kennen und er wüsste nicht um was es geht, sodass ich mit einer anderen Person den ganzen checkin nochmal machen musste und meine situation erklären. Im Zimmer gab es kein Shampoo/Seife. Das Bett war total durchgelegen, man lag auf einer art Luftmatratze. Die Gemeinschaftsküchr hatte kein Geschirr/Kochequiptment. Der Müll stapelte sich und Fliegen/Käfer wohnten schon in den Abfällen. Es stank und der Müll wurde bis zu meiner Abreise nicht entsorgt.
