Stylish Cottage in the Pewsey Vale

Hemos estado comodisimos, como en casa!!!! La casa preciosa y con todas las comodidades y en una zona preciosa Recomiendo seguir las indicaciones que hay tanto para tomar café, como el pub cerquita muy de gente de allí, nos encantó

Quizás por decir algo, es verdad que un colchón demasiado blando y que yo personalmente echo de menos un extractor en la cocina, que en el fondo arreglas abriendo la puerta

The accommodation was in a very rural setting away from all the hustle and bustle yet not too far of a drive to Devizes. There were country walks from the cottage and a canal side pub twenty minutes walk away. Nicely decorated and plenty of room. The hosts were lovely and made us feel exceptionally welcome.

Head height was an issue in the bathroom due to a sloping ceiling but I am 6ft 1in tall and that made it more noticable. There was no oven. Not a huge problem but worth noting.

The location was amazing! The decor was lovely, too. We also felt we could ask the owners if we needed anything. Problems were swiftly dealt with.

I did request on 3 occasions if there would be any feathers in the property as I have an allergy. I was assured there would not be. Unfortunately, there were feather cushions on both floors on arrival. The owners kindly removed them immediately on request, however, the dust mites and dander present in the feathers induced hypersensitivity pneumonitis and I had a number of uncomfortable nights sleep. We bought our own cleaning products to try to remove the dander which helped but we felt the house should have been fully sanitised by the owners after the feathers were removed, and not by us. The cleanliness was not up to the standard we are used to, especially as the bathroom and living room floors had clearly not been mopped/ sanitised before our visit. We would also have appreciated the provision of a tea towel and washing up sponge in the kitchen. Like I said, we felt we could ask the owners for things we needed, but we felt embarassed to request cleaning items.
