Location was great as close to shopping mall and convenience stores such as Mini Mart. Lovely staff and security at front entrance. Comfortable beds and very clean. Very easy and fast self-check in and check out.

One of our bathrooms had 2 large tiles that were loose - hotel staff were apologetic and thankful for feedback. They were happy to arrange to be fixed. Late on our second night we had police banging on the door which was frightening as they could not speak any English. Using the translator app we were able to find that they were doing visa checks. It would have been useful to know this may have occurred in advance to avoid upset.

The environment around the apartments was very nice. Good transport links. Great restaurants next to place, within the mall. The apartments was fantastic and clean.

District 2 is known as more of an expat-friendly area, so it felt familiar and comfortable. Although it’s slightly removed from District 1 (city center), getting there was very easy with Grab (around 20 minutes), so it never felt inconvenient. We really appreciated the proximity to Vincom shopping mall and nearby convenience stores that stayed open late—this was especially helpful since we were traveling with an infant and a toddler. The air conditioning was strong and made a big difference during the hot days. The bed was quite spacious and comfortably fit two adults, one child, and a baby, even though a cot was also provided by the host. We made use of the fridge and microwave, which were convenient, although we didn’t use the other kitchen facilities. We also didn’t use the pool during our stay so we're unable to comment on that.

There were some ants in the apartment, and the walls could use a bit of refreshing. We informed the host, who explained that ants are common in tropical climates and arranged for cleaning the next day. Unfortunately, the ants did return afterward. The beds were firmer than what I’m used to, though this seems typical in Vietnam. Firm mattresses are commonly preferred due to traditional health beliefs and practical reasons in a humid climate, so we understood the reasoning even if it took some getting used to.

The apartment is spacious, close to the mall, restaurants, and the metro.

A lot of things we didn’t like about the apartment. And please take this as a criticism for improvement. First, the apartment is old and things had broken down but not yet fixed. Kitchen cookwares available but absolutely no utensils, no paper towels. So if you want to wash your hands, nothing to dry your hands with. At the sink, the water filter was not working and broken at the base. The shared bathroom had no door. Bath towels were so old and thin, only one and a half rolls of toilet paper provided. We ended up sharing it when the other bathroom ran out. Two bathrooms were pretty old and shower head in the master bedroom didn’t work. Hangers were beyond old and flimsy. Beds were ok but one of the room near the kitchen smelled very strong of smoking, after AC turned on, it was a bit better but when sleep, we had to have door opened for ventilation. In the common room, arm chair was so old and stained, just throw it out please!! The apartment gave us feelings of clean and dirty at the same time, if that makes sense. To use the pool, we had to have qr code, and you need to submit your password two days prior. And every time you want to use the pool or the gym, you must request for qr code
