2 Bed Barn conversion

Absolutely loved the pool, table tennis and steam room! Pool was a lovely temperature and all were easy to access and use.

Just needed a mop to clear up the floors as we came back in and out of the barn conversion, a tiny thing but would have been really handy. We used a towel though so we managed. Had we been staying longer we would have asked for one.

The pool is great, and the steam room, and it’s a comfortable space for a short break. The staff were incredibly helpful.

There wasn’t many kitchen utensils / crockery so cooking was a little tricky but it was such a bargain price it doesn’t matter.

Obviously the swimming pool was the main thing we loved. Rooms were spacious. Nice and warm.

The property lacked a toilet in the shower room. The shower room needs hooks to hang ya towel/ clothes. 1 toilet at 1 end of the property away from shower room. Kitchen lacks oven dishes & trays. Table mats

The pool and location. Owners pleasant and friendly. The kids loved it and was a great base for visiting family

The facilities were very poor. Over priced for quality provided. No oven trays, fish slice, serving spoons, jugs, grater, pans but no lids. Limited crockery. Made “self catering” extremely difficult. 4 towels supplied for family of 4 and washing machine but no washing powder, washing line or dryer, when we asked for more we were told no, you are given two swimming pool “slots” a day so we had to buy towels. Our access to the pool was a door from our kitchen which didn’t close properly, safety/noise issue. Spiders & spider webs galore, as much as I appreciate we were in the country side and some rooms where high ceilings. You can buy long feather dusters. Sink tap in steam room on wrong so when you turn to cold you get scolding hot water, far from ideal with kids. No hot tap at all in the toilet. The cooker was abnormally hot, the surrounding work top also heated up which didn’t seem right. The pool operating room was off our living room which also caused intermittent noise. Had it not been for the enjoyment we got from the pool we would have complained.
