Enjoy hanging out on the spacious rooftop balcony or take the steps down to one of Lynchburg’s most popular restaurants, The Water Dog. The loft is within walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shops, bars, parks, walking, and biking trails. A quick 10 minute drive to Liberty University or Lynchburg College. A great night out on the town is a short walk away!

Fun, neat place, comfortable couch and bed (adjustable settings), beautiful kitchen well stocked with utensils, fabulous bathroom/shower. TV had great selection. Convenient location to walking trails, bakeries and some restaurants are walking distance. If you have a lot of bags/ mobility issues, may not be place for you.

We really enjoyed being down close to the river, in such a lively neighborhood with many choices of places to eat and have a drink. Speaking of bars, although the apartment is atop a large, active sports bar/nightspot, we were not troubled at all by the hubbub—solid old warehouse building absorbed sounds quite nicely. Lynchburg is laced with foot and bike trails, and we loved being able to jump straight onto them steps out the door. The rail-to-trail paths feature great old trestles and one impressive tunnel, just minutes by foot. We walked 10 miles each day of our stay. Perfect weather helped, but lots of the trails are well-shaded, and we would’ve been out there even in more typical August weather.
