The Granary is a beautifully maintained and well-equipped holiday property, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests (maximum 7 adults). Regularly updated to a high standard, it provides the perfect base for exploring the stunning Yorkshire countryside.
Located just a 2-minute drive from the village of Burythorpe, the property is ideally situated for discovering some of Yorkshire’s most popular attractions. Historic York is only 30 minutes away, Malton is a 10-minute drive, and the dramatic cliffs and sandy beaches of the Yorkshire Coast can be reached within 45 minutes.
A favourite destination for visitors is Castle Howard, renowned for its magnificent house and gardens. The beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, made famous by the paintings of David Hockney, begin right on the doorstep and offer wonderful opportunities for walking, cycling, and wildlife watching.
A public footpath passes directly by the property, leading to nearby Birdsall, while numerous other routes provide spectacular views across the Wolds. Cyclists will also appreciate the quiet country lanes and routes suitable for all abilities.
The surrounding fields are home to an abundance of wildlife, including skylarks, buzzards, and frequently sighted deer. This peaceful and unspoilt corner of Yorkshire offers the perfect escape, which is why many guests return year after year to relax and unwind.

Really nice stay- game room is ace, fireplace is so nice, comfy bedeach room is very clean Would be perfect if they have another PS4 handset so we can play together

The Granary was perfect for our family meet up. Lovely, homely property with everything we needed. The games room was great for keeping the teenagers entertained and we enjoyed playing rounders in the garden. The location was ideal for exploring the local area including York and Flamingo Lnd.

Met up with family from the Netherlands , as we came over from New Zealand. Best choice and had an awesome 9 days together.
Super location and a lovely cottage.The host Sarah is lovely as well.

Had a great week, House was perfect for our needs. The games room was a favourite with the kids. Views from the lounge were stunning. Property was comfortable and clean, lovely location.
