I don't think the pictures do this place justice. We were very pleased with the house, and absolutely loved setting out listening to the creek....soo relaxing. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub, and loved the rocking chairs. Just a very peaceful stay.
My husband has back issues and normally complainsa a mattress is too hard or soft, he said he slept great there. The mattress was perfect.
I loved the location. Just far enough out with the sound of the creek that you couldn't hear traffic, yet close to town for convenience. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

A wonderful, private house. The creek and back porch were so needed for a grand relaxing weekend. Even had a little river outer fish the creek! Great place!!

This strongly updated, old school, mountain house is not all new and shiny or uniform in its original construction. It WAS perfect, though, for us and some old friends to gather up near the river for my wife's birthday, float the French Broad some, enjoy Hot Springs for dinner and have our dog too.
Very private location, super low traffic road, porch over babbling brook and the hot tub is brand new and great. Misty the manager is also great!

Perfect location for us to do all the hiking and checking out the Appalachian Trails on our side by side. Cozy rustic cottage. The hot tub was very nice one of the days it rained!!
