Banana Bunks Mirissa

Whilst I read that places like Anhangama and Welligama were maybe better in terms of things to do etc, as we had only just landed for the start of our holiday, we thought we would go for a more relaxed area. Mirissa is certainly more chilled than the other two, and it was great just hanging out and going to places like Coconut Tree Hill and Parrot Rock. It was also a great location to get to nearby beaches to the East to snorkel with turtles (Madiha Beach) and lunch at The Doctor's House. It was also a great location to have a day out in Galle, and seeing the turtle conservation centre on the way. The rooms were amazing and the breakfast and other meals we had at Petti Petti were amazing too. The staff were all really welcoming and lovely and we can't recommend it enough.

Maybe closer walking access to shops etc, but we didn't really need it too much having just arrived.

It was a good location, ability to use the facilities at petit petit was needed.

The pictures do not match the property. The bathroom had a mould issue and the “private bath” as described is not private, it’s at the entrance of all 4 sections of the hotel rooms.
