THE SLOW vegan hotel

We loved this place. Set off the main road, this is a little sanctuary on a bay around the coast from the busier Mirissa. This was our last stay after a couple of weeks sightseeing and we were more than happy just hanging out here. The sea is lovely for swimming and snorkelling (we spotted turtles). Surf is also an option here. It’s an absolutely gorgeous setting. It feels both luxurious and relaxed. The food is superb, (n.b none of us are vegan) the breakfasts, light bites and evening meals were all delicious. We ate here a lot. Our accommodation, in the Family Studio, for myself, husband and two daughters (in their early twenties) worked very well. The second bed is on a mezzanine and felt spacious enough for 4 adults. The decor is beautiful and we had views of the sea from our room and balcony. The manager and all staff were brilliant and very helpful. The walk around the bay to Mirissa along the coastal only takes a few minutes and passes by some cute small restaurants and Parrot Rock.

Only thing we’d say is that the light on our outside balcony was broken and not fixed during our stay. Also the blinds at the back of the balcony were broken and overlooking a run down building. View to front of the sea is spectacular

Fully recommend this place. Amazing staff and beach directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast ist well done and really tasty. Would definitely come again.

Great food, very attentative staff, location right by the beach.

The organization was a little messy, while we were the only guests, it seemed as if the staff did not know we were coming.

Sam and his staff did an excellent and outstanding job to accommodate you as best as they can. The location is obviously outstanding and cannot be beaten. If you like vegan food, that’s the place to go.

The owner of this property is an absolute abomination. He was non responsive prior to planning to stay there and it appears that he couldn’t care less about customers. He never responded to any of my questions or messages, which I found very insidious and unprofessional !! Only after I couldn’t cancel the room anymore, he briefly responded in a very impolite and insulting way. For him it’s just a money printing location. If it was only about the owner and the way he treats you, I would not recommend this place at all !!
