Fort Lauderdale Yacht & Beach Club 411

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night vacation in unit 411 and highly recommend it to anyone wanting the benefit of being within a block and a half to the beach but stay directly on the intracoastal. The views were amazing from morning til night and even included daily beautiful green iguana sightings (we now call them friends). Upon our arrival in some overbearing high temps and humidity in mid-August, we were anxious to get checked in to the unit but it was earlier than normal check in time. I called the rental management company and they were very professional and kind, noting that the code should be released to us a few minutes early. Thankful they were responsive and kind. Once we checked in, the unit was initially not cool but a quick back and forth again with the rental company and we were able to reboot the AC and get cooled off in short order. So appreciative for their help in the oppressive Florida heat! The unit was perfectly appointed, including all of the kitchen gadgets, towels, 2 coffee makers and even had dry spices, back up trash bags, dish detergent, dishwasher tabs and paper towels. Extra rolls of TP were also on hand in the bathrooms and shampoo, conditioner and body wash were even supplied. The beds were all comfy as well as the living room furnishings. There was an awning on the balcony that helped to shield us from the sun and rain when needed and speaking of the balcony... it provided some of the best boat watching I've ever witnessed. We also enjoyed the overall vibe that the complex provided. All of the folks that we interacted with were seemingly owners of units there and the cleaning staff was in our midst in the mornings, ensuring the grounds and public areas were well maintained and clean. The complex lends itself well to adults as it is quiet and peaceful, with entertainment and a more upbeat vibe just a couple of blocks away on the beach. We traveled with our sons who are 24 and 20 and got the best of both worlds.
