Puerta del Príncipe - Free Parking

The apartment was very spacious, two bedrooms, two washrooms (very good water pressure), we were four and everyone had their space. Nice size table for family meals. Very welcoming with a small starter package of products for laundry, dishwasher, cloths; a pitcher of water in the fridge, all necessary kitchen accessories and appliances, more coffee pods than other places, lots of shampoos and body gels, towels. The host (Emilio) provided detailed instructions and videos for the entry of apartment and parking space as well as information on things to do and see and restaurants, checked in regularly and very easy to reach. There is someone at the entrance during the week, but the main door to the building is always locked and requires a key so we felt very safe. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, across from a small park, we walked to the Cathedral (beautiful), the Alcazar palace, about 20minutes away), there is a wonderful little restaurant in that area for tapas and burgers called Milonguitas! The spectacular Plaza de Espana (a must, about 5 minutes away. We took a short uber to Triana which was a bit further and it was too hot to walk, but we walked back (35-40 minutes).

The usual small hiccups with getting used to new places, but the pros outweighed that. Only thing missing was salt for seasoning but we just bought one and will bring it home. Also didn’t use the washer, it was in a back area off the kitchen and we didn’t need anything washed anyway.

Apartamento próximo ao centro histórico e à Plaza de España, em lugar muito tranquilo e silencioso. Os móveis são de qualidade e confortáveis. Ficamos muito satisfeitos com tudo, e Emílio foi muito solícito quando fizemos contato.

The location was great, short bus ride to centre. Apartment spotless, plenty of room. Emilio the host, very helpful and always available via whatsapp.

Only a couple of tiny things, kitchen roll would have been useful and a shelf in the shower for toiletries would be good.
