Great location, close to granite way trail way, lovely views. Private parking & enclosed garden. Comfortable and well appointed. Lovely lemon drizzle cake on arrival. Delicious 👍helpful & friendly owners as well.

We liked everything

Lovely little cottage, had everything you could need. Hosts were lovely, and the location was great for hikes, pubs/restaurants. The shower had great pressure and got hot quickly. There was a little garden to take the dog out when needed. The cottage was nice and cool in the day time and when it got a bit chilly at night 10 minutes of having the heating on was enough to warm the house. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife found the bed a little too soft, but she normally has a firm mattress, due to back ache, so could be personal preference. I slept fine.

The cottage is set on a farm within easy reach of the main road, with onsite parking right outside the door, petrol station etc close by. On arrival there was milk, tea, coffee and a home made delicious lemon drizzle cake, even treats for our little terrier. everything needed for a perfect stay. The bath towels were luxurious so having a shower was an absolute pleasure, Sally is the perfect host, so friendly and charming. The Highwayman pub is only a few hundred yards away, built I believe in 1690, the owner has been there for 69 years!, this is an absolute must to visit,
