Dasein Youlan Hotel Beijing

Beautiful common areas, nice environment, helpful staff, excellent outdoor area to enjoy local beer from the front desk bar. Really central location with easy access to metro and walking distance to great cafes, shopping, main tourist sites. Really worthwhile for convenient travel around Beijing.

Although I was offered a room upgrade before my stay for a nominal fare increase, I didn't understand the difference between accomodations and so I stayed in the most basic room. It was beautiful and very clean, the tub was amazing, but if I had to do it over again, I would opt for the room upgrade for the slightly larger room. For a short stay, the smaller room was absolutely fine but for more than a few days, I'd suggest the small fare increase for the upgrade.

Excellent location, with lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Also well located between two metro stations, so it’s very accessible to major tourist attractions. Staff were always very polite and helpful!

The location was good, the Japanese toilet was awesome and the bed comfortable. The hairdryer was also good. The hotel concept and decoration is good but the maintenance of the room very poor.

The maintenance. The bathroom tiles were about to fall. A wooden shelf badly positioned inside of the shower was almost dismantled. The curtains had humidity stains and part of the floor was spoiled by humidity coming from the bathtub.
