Le pigeonnier / Gîte de charme 1 à 4 pers 80 m²

Le Pigeonnier is a wonderful place to stay. Dominique met us and explained everything about the property. We’re quite a private family and although the cottage is in the grounds of the host, we felt totally at home and very private. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard with wonderful thoughtful touches to the decor. It was just like home. Cambrai has a lovely feeling. First time we have visited. The cottage is only a mile from the town centre and we were lucky enough to stay when the fair was visiting. There’s a huge supermarket a 5 minute walk away and a McDonalds and Burger King 3 minutes away so you’re spoilt for amenities. The bed mattresses are memory foam which we found quite uncomfortable as they all sagged to the middle so probably need renewing. However, we all loved our break at Le Pigeonnier and Dominique is a fabulous host. Cambrai is a delightful town and felt very safe. Only an hour and and half from Calais. We’ll be booking again for the same time next year! Thank you Dominique.
