Beautiful spacious flat right in the heart of the historic city with a great host

Absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful flat. It's in a fab location - just off the main squares of the historic centre of Perugia, so about a 1-minute walk to restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. And the flat itself is lovely - much bigger than it looks in the photos! Both bedrooms were huge with an en-suite bathroom each. The beds were super comfy (we slept so well!) and I loved that there were different types of pillows provided (including memory foam ones). The kitchen has everything you need - all the usual crockery and pots and pans plus a coffee maker and plenty of glasses etc. Bathrooms were great - loved the fact that there's a proper, decent hairdryer provided in each bathroom. And Gloria was a wonderful host. Really quick to respond and provide all the info you need. Loved the virtual key code on our phones - made it so much easier as a group as it meant no having to share physical keys. We love Perugia and have visited many times - this is definitely the best city centre flat we've found so we'll definitely be back.

Perfect location to enjoy Perugia and sorroundings

Perfect location and very comfortable. We parked outside the city and walked a little bit up The hill. Nice view over red roofs. Well equiped if you stay long. Grocery Store a block away. Great bars and restaurants just outside the door

We didn’t care and we like the extra exercise to keep Us in shape but if you have limited mobility, the apartment is on the the-third floor

Gorgeous apartment in the old town

Everything about the flat suited us and it was lovely to be in the old town. Gloria was most helpful and everything we needed to know was accessible. Check in was faultless and getting in and out of the flat was easy. The flat is very comfortable and well appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Loved the attention to detail. It was all new, clean and fresh. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Perfect spot to visit Perugia.

The apartment is located in the center, in the heart of Perugia, just a few steps away from all the city's attractions. It is on the third (top) floor of a historic building, and, as a result, there is no elevator. If you have large and heavy suitcases, you will need to carry them up. Since we were traveling with friends (we were two couples), it was very important for us to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms, a requirement that the apartment fulfilled perfectly. The rooms were spacious and bright, and the same can be said for the rest of the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a multi-day stay. The furnishings are simple but pleasant. The house has very good heating and is clean. The WiFi worked well throughout the entire apartment. Check-in was very easy since it was done online. Through a link provided by the host, you can open and close both the building’s main door and the apartment door. What’s important is to always have your phone charged and with internet access. The link also contains other important and useful information about the city, restaurants, etc. Communication with the host (Gloria) was excellent. She was available at all times to assist us and to make our stay in Perugia and Umbria as enjoyable as possible. Thank you, Gloria! The apartment does not have private parking, but you can park in paid parking lots just a few minutes away.

Convenient to tourist amenities but in a "real life" neighborhood and apartment building.

This apartment is in a very old building in the historic district. Its 100% recently renovated in austere modern style, but in a quirky ancient space. We liked that the street is active neighborhood and the other apartments are filled with locals, so we got a sense of daily life. This apartment has two nice bedrooms with their own baths on the quiet side of the building and a living room, plus another bath, so no waiting for the bathroom even if six couples! Kitchen has a washer & dishwasher. Equipped for very minimal cooking, but with all the tavernas, osterias, ristorantes, etc just a minute or two away, cooking is hardly necessary. We did appreciate the Co-op market just a two minute walk away for groceries. Bedrooms have charming view of rooftops and steeples with church bell ambiance. Host, once we figured out WhatsApp, was very responsive.

You have to be tech savvy: to unlock the front door you need an app on your phone (although host did have a key left by maid the second day for one of us w/o a phone), you also need to contact host through WhatsApp and be prepared to send your passport info via text to a total stranger in order to be get the door-unlocking app. This level of tech is not for everyone. Also this apartment is on the top floor, lots of flights of stairs, plus it has many small floor level changes within the apartment even in the bathrooms, which could be dangerous for those with poor balance. One bathroom has a sewer pump that is startlingly loud, so we avoided that bathroom.

A wonderful experience!

The video of the electronic key was very easy to follow and very convenient rather than carrying around (or losing) physical keys.

The location was great. Just off the main square made it so easy to access all that Perugia has to offer but yet just far enough away to not be over congested. Dante, our host, was always available and incredibly helpful with any questions we had.

The guys renting the flat are very attentive and ready to come to your aid with any request that you have. Also, the info before coming there was really helpful. It,s very close to anything worth visiting in Perugia, very close to a bunch of good restaurants.

The only thing I can think of is that the upstairs neighbour from one of the bedroom was walking really loudly and we could hear him very early in the morning, but that is not the renters fault

Everything about our stay was perfect. The communication from the owner was amazing, and he helped throughout the whole stay when we had questions about our trip. Appartamento confortevole e arredato con gusto. Dispone di una cucina accogliente e attrezzata e di 2 camere con bagno privato. Un comodo divano letto e un altro bagno consentono di ospitare fino a 6 persone. Posizione centralissima con vicino un parcheggio per l'auto. Le operazioni di checkin e checkout sono rapidissime e l'host è sempre disponibile. Il nostro gruppo, 3 coppie, si è trovato benissimo e consigliamo questo alloggio per un piacevole soggiorno nella splendida Perugia. Grazie mille! Monica

Amazing hostess and very nice flat

Lo mejor del alojamiento es su anfitriona: muy amable, accesible y que hizo nuestra estancia aun mejor. El piso estaba impecable, es bastante cómodo y su ubicación es perfecta.

Las camas son bastante blandas, lo que puede ser difícil al cabo de unos días para algunas espaldas y uno de los baños (el otro esta muy bien reformado!) es muy estrecho y tiene una bomba que hace bastante ruido. No es muy cómodo.

Beau séjour, confortable, bien situé

La ville de Perouse et la proximité de l’appartement avec la vieille ville, la possibilité d’aller facilement au lac de Trasimene, à Assise, à Sienne, sur lac côte adriatique..

Nous sommes venus avec notre propre véhicule, impossible à garer à proximité de l’appartement sauf à payer très cher le parking. Avons garé le véhicule à 15 min à pied ( avec des ruelles pentues, d’info olé avec les bagages)

Struttura pulitissima, davvero bella e confortevole, personale competente e attento a ogni nostra esigenza o richiesta. Abbiamo soggiornato in un appartamento perfetto: esteticamente molto piacevole e dotata di tutte le comodità, , una favola! Colazione, anche se non compresa, c'era tutto il necessario per un piacevole risveglio ( caffè, thè biscottini) tutto era pensato con gusto e per rendere il soggiorno piacevole. Posizione perfetta esci e sei nel centro città. Super consigliata!
