The hotel is located in a residential area. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants near by. The staff are kind and helpful.
The bed is soft and cheap but not too bad.

we liked that it was pretty walkable and about 30-40 min walk to the Vatican. there was a nice park close by too. the room was clean, good for a night or two.
We thought it was odd that the staff made us leave our room keys with them at the front desk even though we had checked in. never seen this before in a hotel. The staff was kind and they said, “it was for security reasons”. Also, the safe in the room required notifying staff before using it, which I feel kinda defeats the purpose.

Neat and tidy
About 10 minutes walk to public transport. Travel to city requires connections (bus and train)
Staff takes your keys when you are leaving hotel for outing. I found that very strange for security and privacy purposes. When I asked reception staff for explanation, he got a bit rude due to language barrier probably and couldn’t provide a valid reason. I sent a message to the management who then apologised on behalf of their staff and said it was probably due to language barrier. Also they said the keys are taken so that in case of emergency such as fire etc, they know who is in the room and who isn’t. This still does not make any sense as i might have family members in the room while i am out. Safety checks should be conducted regardless. Overall, nice place with basic amenities, and staff can be trained to be more welcoming.

Location, view from the balcony and staff.
Smell from the bathroom, everything is worn out, the wall are damaged, blinds don’t open fully, everything in the shower and wiggling and barely hanging on the walls, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, we didn’t have a good night sleep.
