Beautiful hotel , really clean and the staff is amazing! So nice, friendly and helpful ! Highly recommended ! It’s also well located!

Great bed and room. Close to Cathedral but still a few blocks walk. Breakfast is marginal. Hotel has focus on birthday parties and events with loud music during day or early evening. Not a real problem but part of the culture experience. On site parking with guard is good.

I would strongly advise against booking Kali Hotel in Santa Ana. What is not made clear when you book is that the hotel also operates as an event space. We only discovered this after checking in, when we were informed there would be a quinceañera that evening. After spending the day hiking the Santa Ana Volcano, we were exhausted and needed a proper night’s rest ahead of a long drive the next day. Instead, we were subjected to deafening music that pulsed through the entire building well into the night. It wasn’t just loud—it was impossible to escape, as the sound carried through the walls and ceiling. We spoke with Osman at the front desk about getting a refund since it was clear we wouldn’t be able to sleep. While he did offer to move us to another room, it was still directly affected by the noise, so it wasn’t a real solution. We asked to speak with the manager, but he was unavailable - apparently too busy managing the event rather than addressing the concerns of hotel guests. If you want to run an event venue, that’s fine, but don’t also operate as a hotel if you can’t provide a basic, quiet place for guests to sleep. Trying to do both, while prioritizing events over guests, makes for a very poor experience. In the end, we cut our losses and booked another nearby hotel that was not only cheaper but had far better amenities and, most importantly, peace and quiet. Do not book here—you’ve been warned.
