Stunning and historical property. Very friendly staff. Very clean. The location in Tuscany was perfect. Great breakfast included. Peaceful surroundings. Comfortable beds and good shower pressure. Also loved that the English patient was filmed here. I will definitely be back.
No complaints. It was perfect.
8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2026
It was clean and well appointed. Staff was very helpful and the grounds were beautiful with lovely vistas.
It was too far out of Pienza so that you had to drive for meals other than breakfast which was plentiful to a distance. At night it was very stressful if you were older. Also I would say that people with mobility issues would have difficulty because the whole area is uneven as well as the floors and stairs.

Delicious breakfast with stunning view, lovely cozy room and peaceful stay.

Authentic monastery setting with beautiful gardens and Val D’orcia views over the country side.
Sparse basic rooms, no aircon, poor sound proofing.
