About this apartment rental

This is a studio flat with stocked kitchen and patio in a well-connected lively neighborhood. The area has some of the best restaurants in Rome. We keep it very clean. You'll find dedicated internet, AC, answers to any Rome questions, and a bottle of wine on arrival. 1-min walk to Metro A stop Ponte Lungo, same line as Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Vatican, etc, or switch to B Line at Termini. Also busses. 1-min walk to Tuscolana Station, for train to FCO airport or Tiburtina station. Our neighborhood is the ideal home-base for visiting Rome. We're about as close to the historical sites as you can get while being surrounded by more locals than tourists. You can quickly and easily get to the tourist center by public transport, then return to our neighborhood for an afternoon break or for dinner. Here you will find much better restaurants with much better prices. Not to mention pastries and gelato and piazzas full of Italians all night long. Open alcohol containers are legal in Italy if you want to enjoy some wine sitting in one of those piazzas. The apartment is right by the Ponte Lungo stop on the Metro A Line. The A Line is the one that stops at Termini, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, and other points of interest. Use Termini to transfer to Metro B Line or shuttle to Ciampino Airport (CIA), but please don't stay near Termini it's Rome's only ugly neighborhood. Also just around the corner is Tuscolana Station. This train goes to Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO). Meaning you are a 2-minute walk and a single train ride from Rome's major airport. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, nice restaurants, grab and go pizzerias, bars (cafes), pubs (bars), gelato shops, pastry shops, clothing stores, a shopping mall, a seafood stand that fries fish to order, a cannoli shop, the "king of tiramisu", several Belgian french fry places, a park, and several piazzas all a few minutes walk away. This is a bustling neighborhood about as close to the historical center as you can get while being surrounded by more Italians than tourists. Unfortunately, in the tourist center it's easy to pay way too much for terrible food. That's all but impossible here where such places just can't stay in business
