About this cottage rental
PENDER ISLAND - Cozy Modern Cottage For Rent:
The cottage sleeps six with the primary bedroom in the loft and a trundle bed (two singles beds) also upstairs. There is a sofa bed in the living room on the main floor.
There are two bathrooms, a powder room on the main and a full bath including tub and shower upstairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped complete with stainless steel appliances. All dishes, glassware, cookware and utensils included.
The living area has a gas fireplace, a 50" flat-screen Smart TV with high speed internet access and comfortable seating.
The large deck overlooks the pool and marina. There is plenty of relaxing to do with a gas BBQ, outdoor table and chairs, and lighted umbrella.
Free parking for one vehicle is provided outside the front door of the cottage.
The most common way to access Pender Island is by ferry - we recommend making reservations both on and off the island, especially at peak times. The cottage is within easy walking distance of the ferry terminal at Otter Bay.
You can also get to Pender by boat or float plane.
There is a small store and coffee shop on site (closed in low season). The Driftwood Shopping Centre is about a ten minute drive away where you can stock up on groceries, gifts, gas and any other necessities.
There are two heated pools on site, (one family and one adults only)with washrooms and showers. The pools are open seasonally - May through September.There is also a games room in the main building adjacent to the family pool.
Pender Island offers a multitude of activities including golf, disc golf, hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding. During the summer there is a Farmer's market every Saturday morning where you can buy fresh local produce, baking and purchase items from the talented local artists.
If you choose, take the time to visit the winery, cidery or any of the local restaurants.

This was a lovely cottage, however, we were anticipating better views from the cottage. To obtain the views in the ads, you have to walk over to the point. A couple of minor comments, a coffee grinder would have been great and there was no indication of available secure WiFi. No WiFi was not an issue with our group but could be for other guests. Overall, the location of the cottage on Pender Island was great and it was clean and cozy.

Place was in a very convenient location and area was very well set up.
Couple of minor issues is parking, very limited but it did work for us.
The second bedroom upstairs has a single bed with a pullout bottom with a second single mattress, not ideal for couples. There is a pull out coach as well but have to be wary of master bedroom as it is open window to living room.
But the overall stay was good
