About this house rental
Whispering Pines is a Luxury estate for 16+ people. This 5000 square foot home has 7 Bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there's plenty of space to host your very large family reunion or perhaps the wedding of your dreams amongst the tall beautiful pine trees on this 12 acres of private forest. With plenty of parking space for vehicles or trailers you will never feel crowded.
Privacy is no issue here weather you are in the home or out on the giant wrap around deck enjoying the 8 person hot tub over looking the 3 plus acres of well manicured grass. There are 2 fire pits to sit next to as you relax and listen to the sounds of nature. If relaxing inside is more your thing then you will find the large reclining leather couches along with giant televisions and whole home audio system an easy way to sit back and forget about your troubles. There's a 150 inch projection theater room in the walk out lower level that has a X Box gaming system. In every bedroom you will find a TV and Roku ultra powered by Starlink internet so no matter how many people you have no one will be fighting over use of the remote or what to watch.
If you have little ones we have created a private space just for them too. There's a fantasy princess spot along with a children's wildlife cubby.
Are you a foodie? Well then perhaps you will enjoy our full size chefs kitchen as well as the 16 places to sit both inside as well as out on the wrap around deck so you can enjoy the meal you have prepared using our giant 6 burner stove with griddle long with 2 separate ovens. The oversize sub-zero refrigerator has plenty of space to hold all your items. Don't worry about bringing your own knives or utensils as we have provide you with Cutco cutlery and hi end silverware. Not to mention there is a large blender, air fryer, insta pot, counter top griddle, oversized crockpot, toaster, and a Keurig coffee pot for 12 cups or individual pods.
If you are worried about being cold, worry no further. The in floor heating system will have you dancing barefoot and enjoying your self as you watch the flames dance around in the oversize wood burning fireplace with plenty of provided firewood after getting out of the 8 person hot tub just outside the master bedroom. You might also relax in the master bathroom tub which easily accommodate two people as well as the walk in shower with 7 spray heads.
The home is wheelchair friendly as the master bedroom and bathroom have oversized doors. There is only 2 small steps to enter the home after that everything you need is accessible on the main level including the front load washer and dryer in the giant laundry room where we provide detergent, bleach, and fabric softener. There is also a utility sink if you need to soak or rinse off anything.
Outside amongst the pine tress and grass we have put up 2 ax throwing targets as well as an Giant Treehouse that has a flat screen TV and XBox gaming system. If you want to adventure out away from the estate we are only 5 miles from Vallecito Reservoir where I can guide you on a fishing expedition or rent you one of my multiple boats. If you are looking to go skiing or ride the Silverton narrow gage train the home is centrally located and is a quick easy drive to get into Durango as well as to Puragatory ski resort. All events will need prior approval before booking with the understanding that we have an event fee for events having more then 20 guests. Thank you

Amazing property! Had my sons wedding here, easily accommodated the wedding party that stayed for the entire weekend and the other 30 who were at the wedding. We cooked for all 45 guests with ease in the well stocked large kitchen. The children with the group loved exploring the wooded area with in sight of the parents. Over all 5 star family experience!!
