About this house rental
The House is on 4 acres of a 1200 acre family estate, Historic Allendale Circa 1852. Relax on the Patio under the big shade trees. Beautiful Setting close to Baton Rouge 15 minutes but secluded, can walk to the levee and Mississippi River and can fish in Levee Ponds. Can take walks on property and also ride bikes on the Rural Secluded roads. This is a great place to relax and spend time in a relaxing place to re charge away from big citys and close to New Orleans 1 hour. You cant go wrong you will love it.

Nice house but floor in the kitchen needs to be replace. Really bad in front of the refrigerator. Almost unsafe to walk on or even have the refrigerator there. The refrigerator needs to be looked at doesn’t keep drinks or food very cold. Freezer works great. Bring games or other things to past the time as there are no TVs in the house.

House was old rustic with nothing to do. No tv which wasn’t bad but no games, outdoor activities or anything. GPS didn’t get us to the correct road and then there were 3 houses on the property and didn’t know which one to go to. Refrigerator was at 60 deg, Big bathtub in master didn’t work, water either very hot or very cold in very small showers with leaks. Lots of space for 10-12 people. Plenty of kitchen appliances and dishes! Owners came by every day checking on things but very nice. Overall was a decent stay!
