About this house rental
Reel Paradise is a spacious 5BR luxury home at Mahi Bay in Port Aransas. An open concept on stilts, it accommodates 14 & provides plenty of parking & hangout space below. You will LOVE the outdoor family-friendly fenced-in space w/ multiple lounge & dining areas, grill/cooler, games, PRIVATE, colorful, HEATED pool & outdoor shower. Stunning deck views of the Nature Preserve wetlands. Luxury foam mattresses & smart TVs w/ fast Wi-Fi in every room. Kid friendly for children of all ages.
Living Room
• The open floor plan affords a fantastic view from the kitchen, dining room, living room, of the wetland.
• The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living room and allows for entertaining with family and friends.
• 75 “ Smart TV with WIFI
• Breakfast bar with 5 stools
Bedroom 1
• Bedroom 1 offers king bed 12” memory foam mattress with double sink vanity ensuite, 42” smart tv and guest closet.
• Bedroom 2 offers king bed 12” memory foam mattress with double ensuite,
42” smart tv and guest closet.
• Bedroom 3 offers a queen 12” memory foam mattress bed, 42” smart tv
and guest closet. BR3 will share the 3rd bathroom in the hallway with BR4
• Bedroom 4 offers a bunk bed (10” memory foam “full” mattress) with a
trundle bed also a full, 42” smart tv and guest closet. This room will share
bathroom in the hallway.
• Bedroom 5 (upstairs) offers queen bed 12” memory foam mattress with
ensuite, 42” smart tv. Also has a deck with stunning views of the
bay/wetlands.
• The loft area offers twin bed 10” memory foam mattress with a trundle
bed also a twin, 42” smart tv.

• Propane tank available for both grill and fire pit table. Tank is not guaranteed to have propane

• The full size W/D laundry room is located in the end of the hallway . A starter supply of laundry detergent is for your use. Also baskets of extra sheets will be available on top storage.
• Pool can be heated for an additional $85/day during Oct - May and must be the duration of stay. Please give advance notice as it takes several hours to heat the pool and is an optional add-on separate from regular booking expenses.
• Beach is a 4 minute drive to either public access point. A city-regulated parking pass is required and can be purchased for around $10 at any gas station.
The Marina is only a couple miles away where you can charter a deep sea fishing trip, Sunset Cruise, Dolphin Watching, Pirate Cruise or eat a fresh meal.
Open Air Dining is awesome, but if you want fine dining experience you can enjoy Fins Grill and Icehouse, The Phoenix Restaurant & Bar, Black Marlin Bar & Grill, just to name a few!
Enjoy a nice cup of coffee and pastries at coffee waves and hitting the beach to watch the sunrise.

The house was cute, however a little run down from previous visitors being rough on it and was not worth how much we paid for it. I think the upstairs bedroom/bathroom wasn’t cleaned before I came because there was sand all over the floor bedroom & bathroom floor as well as a large piece of bloody toilet paper on the floor. The upstairs balcony door was super hard to close and the door handle was falling off. There was no iron or steamer, on 2 towels in each bathroom who h means we had to wash the towels everyday in order to have enough to shower. The front door lock was almost always an issue getting in and out. The cleaner didn’t both cleaning up the whole patio area from the previous renter because there were dirty bandaids sticking to the ground, hair ties and trash all over. The lawn need mowed badly and was full of trash and sticker plants everywhere. We accidentally stepped on them everyday. The outdoor furniture was very worn and had burn holes all over it. At night when we slept we could feel the house moving in the wind and it wasn’t even very windy which was odd.mosquitoes absolutely demolished each and everyone of us. We had to spray Off Deep Woods every hour and still got ate up so bad. I know it rained a few days earlier and it wasn’t the owners fault but I definitely would not stay in that area again, there was standing still water everywhere which was drawing them. Construction was going on next door so it was a bit uncomfortable have them all staring at us

The host had quick responses to our questions and concerns. He quickly fixed a couple issues. We would stay here again if we visit Port Aransas again.

The house is beautiful with enough space for everyone. It is close to the beach, easy to drive to or walk. The heated pool was a favorite for all the ages. My granddaughter especially loved finding the “treasure box” of toys to play with.
