Excellent location for starting the Ruta Del Cares. The staff were friendly and helpful and meals were good value (considering the location I had expected some inflation). The home made bean soup was especially good!

Super friendly family run place to stay in Cains. Room was basic but very comfortable, good shower and very good value for money. There is a small bar and restaurant attached to the hotel and the food and drinks were delicious. Would definitely recommend if you are passing through Cains on a hiking trip.
It was a little hot to sleep with no AC however the night we spent here did fall on a heatwave so I imagine when the outside temperatures are a little more normal for the Picos, it would be pleasant!
