Family loved the space and Nonna loved the ease

This rental space is perfect for family traveling together, with comfortable features and lovely artistic touches throughout. The space is basic, as one would expect from a 100 year old home, but it also literally feels like you’re at home. The apartment is well provisioned, and included amenities like towels, washcloths, shampoo and conditioner, and body wash, which are pretty standard. What stood out was that the kitchen had all the items that you need to prepare a full meal, and included basic spices, coffee, and sugar, so you can basically show up with some groceries and have a great weekend without any hassle. The communication for check in and check out had the hallmarks of a capably-designed AI chatbot and made the experience easy. I’m in Pittsburgh often and will be looking to stay again in the future.

Someone stole our phone. House was very dirty. Refrigerator was gross. Our bed sheets on 1 bed had blood stain., gross. If you had to cook there, ther was 5 forks, 3 spoons & 3 butter knives. And no hair dryer like it said.. No dish towels or dish rag & no dishwasher soap.

It was a wonderful experience staying at this property.

The hygiene was thoughtfully considered—for example, a brand-new, unopened sponge was prepared for washing dishes. The place was also decorated like a real home, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We also liked the historical images of the local community displayed on the living room wall.

One night, the guests (or residents) on the third floor were quite noisy around midnight, and the disturbance lasted for a couple of hours. They may have just arrived and needed time to settle in, but the noise was really disruptive for us. It might be helpful for the hosts to gently remind future guests (or residents) on the third floor to be mindful of those staying on the second floor.

For the price & the historic charm, definitely worth it to stay. Would come back if ever in the area again.

Historic home, interesting layout, the decorations were very charming. I liked the balcony off the kitchen. Very close drive to everything you need in the city, parking is very easy. I liked that there is a park across the street.

The location is a little sketchy- there were cop cars circling the block pretty much our entire stay- but we personally had no issues. We found one dirty wash cloth on top of the shower, but otherwise the place looked very clean. You could hear upstairs neighbors footsteps coming in late- but not really anyone’s fault it’s just an old house.

Spacious unit, with plenty of room to sleep, cook if needed and relax.

I had a last minute confusion about the exact unit that I need to get in, so I called both the number proved in the reservation and also the number from which the host was sending me texts. But neither of the numbers were answered even after multiple attempts. I had to wait for about 15 minutes outside the property at night with my family, before getting a reply confirmation text with the exact unit I need to go to. I didn't like the fact that my calls weren't answered by the host, especially when they provided a number to be called in case of any questions or issues !

Cheap with 6 beds.

The cost was really the only positive.

It looked like every door on the premises had been kicked in at one point. The pillows on the couch were covered in mold. Much of the furniture in the house looked as if it had been found. The "onsite" parking was in the street and during my stay was at the end of the block and around the corner, with no notice.
