Stunning 2 Bed Apartment Sea Views and Parking

It was spacious and on ground level which was ideal for my 95 year old mother.

We found the beds a bit hard

Great location and lovely decor and well equipped. Nice fixtures and fittings.

The outside back entrance from the car park was very messy/dirty which was a shame because it gave a bad impression on arrival. Also the keys didn’t work properly on the front sea facing door which was due to sea salt corrosion so we had to rely on one entrance.

Situation is very convenient for walking into town and along beach promenade. Accommodation was nicely prepared and is very well laid-out, decorated and equipped. The allocated adjacent parking space took away the stress of finding somewhere to park each day/night. Accommodation and local information booklet (also in PDF format) was extremely clear and comprehensive.

- The lounge seating comprised of one very low settee (reasonably comfortable once seated) and one very hard convertible bed-settee. - It seems a chatbot is used for much of the communication with the landlords. Whilst this provided regular contact, it felt a little impersonal and offered no remedy for small issues when reported (eg front door was unable to be opened/locked with the key so we always had to exit by rear door - not a big deal but a bit annoying when just wanted to go for a walk).

The apartment is lovely and light with a fantastic kitchen/dining/living-room with a sea view. Fantastic location and the apartment was very clean.

We came down for an August weekend and the listing said beach towels were provided. We arrived to find no beach towels and had a restless first night in a very musty smelling bed -  neither the linen nor bedding smelled fresh. When we contacted the owner on Saturday morning to raise these problems he was unbelievably rude - said he had no other beach towels, that it wasn’t his fault if other guests had taken them, that he had no other linen available and didn’t have anyone in Worthing ‘at our disposal’ to sort out problems. He was extremely unpleasant, not at all apologetic and totally unhelpful. In the end some beach towels were dropped off but the whole thing totally ruined the beginning of our stay and will be what stays with us. Recommend you look for somewhere with an owner with a more polite and helpful attitude.
