Le Pagnol - WIFI - CLIM

Absolutely great location -- lots of shops and restaurants in the area and just a 3-minute walk to Place de l'Horloge, the big plaza on Rue de la Republique. We were there for 6 nights and loved having room to spread out in an apartment rather than being cooped up in a hotel room. A microwave, refrigerator, and air-conditioning!

Despite the fact that the concierge exchanged multiple messages with me by email prior to our trip, the info needed to gain entry to the apartment was sent to my booking.com Message Center -- was not looking there. Very stressful situation as the concierge's phone number listed on our confirmation was not a working number. Luckily I was able to reach an agent at booking.com who gave me the info. The kitchen wall and sink area under the open stairs needs to be cleaned better. Each bed only had one flat sheet to cover with -- we were cold but luckily we found an extra sheet and a duvet (without a cover) in a closet and used those. Very low water pressure in the kitchen (it was fine in both bathrooms). Wish there were wash cloths and hand towels. The seats on both toilets were not tight and slid around as much as 2" -- could not tighten them. Neighbors across the street had loud parties with their windows open on 3 of the 6 nights we were there -- even with our windows closed, it just was not the late night vibe we wanted. Sleeping with earplugs blocked the noise.

La ubicación. Fantástica. El aire acondicionado.

La limpieza: en la habitación principal había un calcetín de algún huésped anterior debajo de la cómoda, y en una de las cajas que hacen de mesilla de noche había restos de un blíster de medicina vacío. También había restos de comida bajo la mesa de comedor. En la habitación principal, las supuestas mesillas de noche son dos cajas de madera de mercancía (como las de transporte de frutas), es decir: tablones de madera separadas, por cuyos huecos se caen las cosas. Tampoco hay enchufes cerca de la cama. El apartamento se anuncia para 6 personas, pero es importante reseñar que 4 de ellas duermen en la misma habitación (una litera con camas dobles). Para niños no está mal, pero para adultos, es a tener en cuenta. El caudal de agua de la cocina es mínimo: llenar un simple vaso de agua lleva mucho tiempo. Fregar los platos conlleva una eternidad. La cantidad de papel higiénico proporcionado para 6 personas durante 3 días fue realmente escasa, a pesar de que sólo utilizamos el apartamento para dormir y desayunar. Tampoco proporciona productos de higiene en los cuartos de baño (un frasco de jabón de manos casi vacío, pero no gel ni champú).
