Casa Vacanze La Pavoncella

We had the most fantastic 11-night stay at La Pavoncella. The property is so private and peaceful and our hosts couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Maria Grazia was particularly thoughtful in providing our children with colouring books and pencils to keep them busy which was hugely appreciated! The house is particularly well stocked with everything you could need for a great holiday. The pool was the perfect antidote to the very warm weather, and we maximised the property for full al fresco dining and socialising. You do need a car to access the property, and you should be prepared to drive 15-20 mins to the nearest amenities. However you can reach a number of beaches very easily, with the beach at Costa Paradiso being a particular highlight (arrive early for a good spot!). The local farm shops offer delicious produce (highlights including watermelon, percorino and peaches) and the vineyards (Tenute Vignola) produce great Sardinian wines. I couldn't recommend this place more strongly if you're looking for a relaxing break in Sardinia.
