Amazing. The beds were comfy, it had a washing machine and dryer, and was on the ground floor in a nice area. However what really shone was the kindness of the host Enzo. when we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, so he gave us water, and lots of local food from his bakery to try as we waited. He gave us pastries whenever we went in and offered breakfast everyday as well as a bagged lunch when we went to visit Pompeii. He and the bakery staff greeted us so warmly every time we stopped in. We would surely come back just to visit them!!

Nos sentimos cómodos en casa Marianna. También se encuentra en un punto muy fácil para moverte a cualquier sitio interesante que visitar. Para tomar ferrys más económicos en Nápoles mirar en Caremar. En el mismo puerto se puede comprar aún más barato que online. Es en Caleda puerta Massa. El funicular está en la misma calle de la pasticeria Siciliana para poder bajar a las zonas céntricas de Nápoles aunq andando está a 15 minutos. Excepcional como se comportaron con nosotros los dueños, Enzo. Nunca se habían comportado así con nosotros en un b&b. El chorro de la ducha una auténtica delicia. Estuvimos en Ischia, es lindísima pero se me esian varios días para conocerla. En Procida también muy lindo, en Sorrento que es súper y cuidado y limpio y en playas en Nápoles como las que hay en Posillipo. Pompeya también estuvo genial aunq muchísimo calor ese día. Gracias miles a Casa Marianna también por los ricos desayunos en la Paticeiria Siciliana. Gracias Máximo (pequeño) que nos has cuidado tanto y tan agradable que eres. Gracias por todo Enzo. Suerte con todo!

LA POSIZIONE OTTIMA. LA GENTILEZZA E DISPONIBILITÀ DEL PERSONALE. LA COLAZIONE IN PASTICCERIA DEL PROPRIETARIO. IMPORTANTISSIMO !!! Se si è in macchina, il proprietario gentilissimo, ti trova un parcheggio gratuito a due passi e se non si ha una macchina grande si riesce ad arrivare davanti l'appartamento per carico e scarico. A due passi c'è la funicolare che ti porta praticamente in centro.

Premesso che si è al centro dei quartieri caratteristici di Napoli, l'appartamento posto al piano terra a noi è risultato molto umido dovuto forse anche alle condizioni climatiche del momento e della presenza di un'unica apertura verso l'esterno che sarebbe la porta di ingresso. L'aria condizionata comunque aiuta. Se si è in 3, il terzo letto è un divano non molto comodo. Soluzione però sicuramente ottima per vivere l'atmosfera della Napoli vera e la centralità della zona supera ogni negatività.

The host was incredible. It was clear right from the start that the owner Enzo was a people person. Extremely hospitable offering food and drink the minute we arrived. Parking is on the main street and difficult to find so Enzo moved his car the first night so we could use his spot. The parking lot down the road was 50 € per night which was not expected as it is quoted at 30 € per night in the ad. Enzo's bakery cafe was around the corner and was a welcomed spot for breakfast. His wife and staff were also very nice. Unfortunately the apartment was not. The ad listed and reviewed here shows a spacious, clean well equipped and layed out apartment. We were not offered this dwelling. Instead we were housed in the small back alley apartment shown as a ground floor apartment. Those pictures were clearly from some time ago. I went back to read previous reviews and fully understand that those reviews are for the apartment with all of the pictures with the light wood cupboards. The apartment main floor was one small room. Kitchen on one side, bathroom door right off the dining table. The sofa/bed was worn and had a blanket over the base cushions. The bathroom was tight, and shabby. The fixtures were worn, the floor was dirty. There was nowhere to put your shower toiletries except the floor. The towel bar was broken an in the sink drawer. There was no soap, soap dish or dispenser so even when you bought your own there was nowhere to put it. There was a bidet but there also was a plastic drawer unit (to provide more storage) leaned up against it so there was no way to actually use the unit. Best of all, there was no toilet seat. Enzo thought I was silly for complaing about that but did hand deliver a foam toilet seat to my husband the second evening. It was not installed, no tools provided to even install it ouselves. The kitchen was stocked with some basics and a new stove. There kitchen was 1/2 ready for use. Dishsoap but no place to put the wet dishes.

I struggled with my conscious over writing this review. We really liked Enzo. However, fair is fair. I would hate for another traveller to be duped as we were and hope that Enzo will make whatever changes are necessary to bring that apartment up to standard or just remove it from his listings. I honestly dont think Enzo thinks its that bad but as a very experienced traveler who just spent three weeks crossing Italy I can say this was by far the only accomodation I would not recommend. The mouse stool under the sink was not a welcome sight.
