We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and our room was cleaned only once. Also, beach towels were not provided by the hotel.

Perfect location

Location was simply perfect, the room was clean and the view from the balcony was lovely. A/C worked very well. Good lighting both in the room and in the bathroom. Quiet neighborhood even if so close to the center.

Not enough hangers for the towels. A double bed is in reality 2 separate beds put together (no common mattress or top). The fridge is just a ‚drink cooler’. The host is generally polite, but was surprisingly rude and even raised her voice when I asked for a second toilet paper roll—very very embarrassing.

Very central and comfortable

Something doesn’t really work, like the water heater kettle, and the outdoor lights for guests to climb up the stairs. The lights are on for 5 second and off right away. It’s dangerous in the night. We can’t see anything.

Good location, insufficient variety of amenities.

Location and accessibility to the beach/beaches, markets, old town. Changing the towels after some time. Clean bed sheets and towels.

The bed makes noises. Each time you move. Even though it is a slight turn the bed makes enough noise to wake you and your neighbors up. There is no shower gel or soap provided by the property. I came across to a listing days after my booking which offers similar room in the same property for ~50% cheaper. Ac and fridge turns off automatically when you leave the room. There’s no enough space to eat or prepare some snacks. The fridge is very small you can barely store a 6L water bottle. One small dustbin that you have to use for both wc and others.

Great place

It is a very clean apartment, very close to the beach and the old town. There is a supermarket nearby and many restaurants are very close. I would recommend this place for sure. It has AC and a small terrace

Loved it.

Beautifully located near the old town, the beaches, restaurants, a market store, marina, etc. The caretaker was amazing and very friendly. I would absolutely recommend it.

Unsatisfied

Good location and clean facility

Our A/C unit broke in the evening, we messaged the property to try and address this but no response until late the following morning. A full sleepless night due to having to sleep with the balcony door open as the room was unbearably hot, but it was also very noisy outside so we were continually woken up. We asked the cleaner outside our room who then started shouting at us, presumably saying it was our fault (we couldn’t understand the language). She was very rude almost to the point of aggressive.

Wifi signal was very weak and almost impossible to use. Although the staff tried to help, the problem was only solved to some extent. There was no TV signal (not that I wanted to watch TV while there, but it didn’t work at all).

Terrible wifi, noisy, small beds, no-kitchen 'apartments'

Location was very close to the old town and the sea.

I paid for a double bed and they put 2 single beds together. This is NOT a double bed. Comfort is far reduced. I reported this but they could not move me to another room with a proper double bed. Fake advertising. The wifi was non existent most of the time, signal was awful. Sometimes you get signal for a few seconds, then it disappears. This meant that I could not stream anything. Even short Reels would pause to load. Wifi, 1/10. I reported it and nothing was done about it. This was NOT an apartment, as it had no kitchen. Only a fridge BUT power was switched off when you're not in the room, so it did not work all the time. In the evening the fridge would be very warm. Do not store perishables there. Walls are paper thin. I had a noisy, inconsiderate couple of people staying next door and I could hear everything for 3 nights. They were shouting till 1am in the morning, making sleep impossible. I reported this but nothing was done about it. Basically neither the owners nor Booking fixed any of the issues. They just take the money and forget about you.

The location is good.

The room has no soundproofing at all. I could hear all the neighbors' conversations. The neighbors had no respect for other residents, and I couldn't sleep the whole time. There were bugs crawling on the floors. Wifi doesn't work properly. The host doesn't speak any English.

The property is located near the Old Town and the beach. There's also a supermarket 3 minutes away for quick grocery runs. The caretaker who didn't speak English seemed friendly.

The WiFi was so weak. I had to reconnect and change position ever so frequently to use it when it was available.

Decent

Amazing central location, overall facilities are freshly renovated, nice and friendly host.

Despite free wi-fi advertisement, you get no wi-fi at all. After contacting manager facilities multiple times, nothing was done. It was also extremely humid in the room, and at some point the AC just stoped working. It was not possible to open windows during the evening and night due to mosquitoes and no nets installed.

Great location, modern apartment.

The apartments are a little tricky to find but the location is great, close to the old town. Facilities were clean and modern. Had a clothes rack and porch to put it which was hugely helpful.

We had big problems connecting to the wifi. We were told it was our phones (we both have newer addition iPhones) but it was very temperamental connecting. Most commonly we were able to connect in the evening but not during the day. Was difficult to try sort this due to language barriers with the staff.

Not worth the stay

The hotel is very close to main attractions

Reaching the hotel was hard with luggage as there's too much stairs to climb with no one being able to help you from staff side. Moreover the person who handed us the keys doesn't know English so it was a hassle to communicate with her, plus she was quite rude when we asked her for extra towels but ended up giving us extra ones when we reached out to the owner for complaint.

Great location for old town and beach, and in walking distance from the bus station. Was easy to find once the apartment sent a marker for google maps.

I booked the garden view and due to the shared balcony I couldn’t leave the terrace door open.

The location. It was central, next to the beach and old city center

The host didn’t speak English, she was talking to us in Serbian even after she knew we didn’t speak her language. The kitchenette area was smelling very bad. The shower door was ripped and all the water was spreading everywhere. We didn’t always have hot water. Sheets, blankets and pillows looked dirty, the terrace was dirty with cigarettes in the flower pots. There were no insect nets at the windows. The host had no problem bothering us, entering the room whenever she wanted. She kept appearing in the terrace. Very bad experience overall.

Our stay in Mara Lux apartments was amazing! The location is just perfect; 5 mins walk to the Old Town, all the restaurants, shops, 5 different beaches. the apartment itself was very clean, comfortable, equipped with everything we needed and was very new. The cleaning lady Milena is so kind, supporting, smiling. though she speaks only in Serbian she is always there to help! Also the sales person Alina was always available and helped us with whatever ask we had! 100% recommended!

The decor was lovely and was a very clean apartment with a nice shower and comfortable bed. Good location in the old town with supermarket a few steps away

We had issues with payment, firstly asked for cash on arrival which we only had cards. We assumed this would be taken on the card attached to the booking account. We did resolve this after speaking to the company on the phone. The rooms did let in a lot of light in as the curtains were too small for the windows.

The room was with i view i like it,modern design, air condicionat was good. the location was good you are 5 min away from old town.

many stairs to get up to the apartamant. no parking and you need to pay 28-30 euro/day at privat parking because public parking was full. The second day no new towels in the room( because is summer and is neccesary ). no shampo in toilette, only soap . the check out was early in 10 oclock ( maybe in 11 will be ok”

No english speaking

Good location

There was no English-speaking attendant, the woman stubbornly spoke to us in her own language. When we first went to the hotel, a used napkin was thrown into the sink. the sheets are like grandma sheets. She also came to the room half an hour before our check out time and kept saying something loudly in his own language. At least one employee who speaks English should be hired.
