Very handy for visiting Mont St Michel. A lot of thought has gone into the refurbishment and decoration of this gite. As a family the layout suited us, but it may not suit every group intending to stay, so look at the photos and read the reviews. But we really enjoyed our stay.

There were only four bowls, but this is a such a minor inconvenience.

Lovely family getaway conieniently near St. Michel!

Spacious retreat close to St. Michel! Perfect for families. Laundry machine was a bonus and with a convenient layout. Our kids were super excited and thought it was neat. Tv room downstairs was a great to relax and give everyone space.

Nice place to regroup and de stress when traveling

The property is just outside of the town so it’s very quiet The gas BBQ was a great addition.

The owner is renovating the adjoining building and this may bother some. We didn’t mind and found it nice to see the hard work they are doing to revitalize this place

Stay would be great if you don't need the upstairs bedrooms

Bedroom on the lower floor with bathroom is nice.

Be aware that the other 2 bedrooms are in the attic. It gets very hot up there. There are windows in the roof, but you don't want to open them because of the traffic noise from the busy road. The 2 bedrooms in the attic do not have doors. It is really one large attic room with 2 single beds and a double bed with a partial wall divider between them. From the inner bedroom, you need to go through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom or reach the stairs to go down to the lower level. This means there is no privacy and can be noisy. Finally, the house is part of a larger property that is under renovation. You will be driving down a gravel ramp and parking your car on gravel.

An authentic structure and spacious stay for a family!

A very authentic farmhouse beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. Farm land on both sides, yet close to the town. One of the most spacious accommodations with 2 full baths, a separate sitting area with bar and TV downstairs. We enjoyed an alfresco dinner in the courtyard outdoors. Lovely owners who were very attentive.

Easy to find, although on the main road it sits between nice land. A nice tablecloth for outside would be a nice addition and also coffee cream and sugar.

Bella location ampia e comoda. Una tavernetta spettacolare ed una atmosfera di campagna, ma al tempo stesso raffinata. Comodissimo parcheggio in cortile privato.

Solo un piccolo appunto: illuminate l’insegna e l’entrata: se si arriva col buio non è facile trovarvi.

Ein wirklich schöner und rundum erholsamer Aufenthalt.

Für alle Sehenswürdigkeiten an der Grenze zwischen Bretagne und Normandie liegt die Unterkunft perfekt, v.a. für Gäste, die mobil mit dem Auto unterwegs sind. Sie ist unmittelbar nah zum Mont St. Michel und gleichzeitig ruhig inmitten eines kleinen Dorfs gelegen, eine perfekte Urlaubs-Location.

Nur eine einzige kleine Sache hat uns nicht gefallen: Der Hof, der zur Unterkunft umgebaut wurde, ist wirklich mückenverseucht. Ein paar Sträuße frischer Lavendel oder Geranien rund um die Unterkunft könnten da schon helfen.

L'emplacement Le cachet du logement

Escalier d'accès logement très raide. Séjour en sous sol inutilisable l'hiver. 12°C malgré un chauffage d'appoint low cost. Donc une partie du logement non accessible. Véritable show room de matériaux (portes, murs, interrupteurs..) de gamme brico dépot. Idem pour l'electro ménager de bas de gamme. Proximité de la route circulante. Paiement du supplément voyageur en espèces, pas sur que cela soit en accord avec la politique booking.
