The house feels peaceful with a well-kept and neat garden and pool. It is near to schools which suited us perfectly. If there is a big sports festival on then you do hear the spectators from the verandah. It did not bother us at all as we were there for the sports anyway, but it might bother guests who don't expect a bit of noise during the day. The host allowed our friends to bring their 6-week old puppy with them which was very gracious. The hosts are very accommodating. They live in a separate house on the property.
We like hard mattresses, and my husband's mattress was quite soft. This is personal - some people like soft beds. We mentioned this to the host and he immediately said he would look into it.
