Little tweaks could make this perfect

The owners were really nice people and offered to make us a pizza despite of late arrival. Beautiful location and venue, ideal for large gatherings.

Rooms missing basic amenities like kettle with coffee or a hairdryer. Also, it was very cold despite heating being on max. The radiator is tiny for size of the room.

A beautiful house, with very helpful people: recommended.

We had complained, following being told that we would have to drive to the Barbarossa bakery over in Sausenheim for breakfast! But the in house breakfast was excellent, with superb coffee. Beds were fantastic. Very quiet place, very very helpful people.

When we arrived, we complained about being given the 'New York' room, up a steep wooden staircase! I am over 80, and it was barely possible. So we were taken down to the 'Casablanca' which was small and without chairs - but we 'borrowed' three chairs from outside, and did very well, though very crowded.

Ein sehr schöner Ort für einen Kurzurlaub.

Großzügige Anlage, ideale Hochzeitslocation, Themenzimmer! Wir hatten den Raum Bali. Sehr schön und stimmungsvoll. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig ( über das Übliche hinaus z.B. Edelsteinwasser). Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Besitzer! Idealer Ort für Ausflüge!

Wunderbar für eine Nacht und direkt am Pfälzer Weinsteig gelegen.

Die Unterkunft ist unterhalb des eigentlichen Dorfes gelegen. Ein kurzer Spaziergang auf die Anhöhe ist kein Problem. Das Dorf ist auch schnell erkundet. Die Unterkunft hat einen wunderschönen Innenhof und das Frühstück war lecker. Wir hatten eine Sauna in unserem Zimmer, was natürlich wunderbar war nach einer langen Anreise.

Angenehmer Ausgangspunkt für die Wanderung.

Der Inhaber hat uns unentgeltlich in den Ort, der oberhalb der Unterkunft liegt, gefahren. Dort befinden sich die meisten Restaurants. Ansonsten hätten wir zu Fuß einen anstrengenden Weg gehabt. Das hat uns sehr gefreut. Schöner Garten zum Entspannen.

Zimmer recht klein, wenig Platz für die Koffer.

Eine kleine Auszeit vom Alltag

Wir waren für eine Übernachtung nach einer Wanderung dort und obwohl wir gar nicht so weit entfernt wohnen, überlegen wir bereits im Herbst noch einmal dort zu übernachten. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und als die Inhaberin die Größe unseres Hundekörbchens sah, bot sie direkt an, dass wir auch gerne ein Möbelstück auf den Flur stellen könnten, sollte es sonst zu eng werden. Und auch morgens beim Frühstück fragte man direkt, wo unser Hund sei. (Wir hatten ihn im Auto gelassen) Man fühlte sich einfach als Gast mit Hund sehr willkommen. Das Zimmer (wir hatten das Zimmer Casa Blanca) ist richtig hübsch eingerichtet, die Fliesen und die Einrichtung passen so gut zusammen. Durch die Ruhe und das gemütlich eingerichtete Zimmer konnten wir uns direkt wohl fühlen und entspannen. Durchgel, Handseife und 2 Flaschen Sprudel waren auch vorhanden. Das Frühstück war vollkommen ausreichend und lecker, mit gekochten Eiern, verschiedenen Sorten Wurst und Käse, Müsli und Saft. Wir wollten eine kurze Auszeit vom Alltag und diese Unterkunft hat mit einem großen Teil dazu beigetragen, dass wir unsere Akkus wieder etwas aufladen konnten. Ein großes Dankeschön dafür und wir werden definitiv wieder kommen 🥰
