Casina di Marnie

It was our first visit to Sicily and although we wanted to visit Palermo, we didn't want to stay there. We stumbled across this home in Balestrate, not really knowing what it was like, and was in for a pleasant surprise! Marnie met us at the property and welcomed us and gave us a tour of the building. Guests have access to the roof terrace with wonderful private views of the town and the sea. The town itself has everything you need. We visited during May so it felt like we were one of the locals. It has plenty of bars and restaurants, along with all the other shops and groceries you'd need. We hired a car so parking was important for us, and each time we went and came back we'd find a space on the street (for free). Balestrate was in an ideal location for visiting lots of nearby towns and cities, so you'll find this is a perfect base for visiting those places. There were 3 of us in our party, so it was the perfect size and we wanted to save money so cooked evenings and made lunch, and the kitchen was well stocked for what we needed to make it comfortable and easy to cook. We will definitely return if we return to Sicily and Marnie was always on hand if we had any questions about the house or town, and was super responsive. 5 stars from us!

Дуже мила і приємна хазяйка, на кухні є все необхідне і навіть більше для куховарства. Зручне розташування, ніколи не було проблем з парковою для машини.

На фото квартира дуже світла, по факту вона дуже темна. В ній дуже багато мотлоху та пилу, там відчуття затхлості та старості. Не приємно знаходитись в цьому приміщенні, тераса також не доглянута, за весь час відпустки ми жодного разу не захотіли там провести час. Також є відчуття небезпеки через перший поверх. Також не всі розетки можуть працювати, бо вони мають інший штекер.
