This cozy Vacation Home is just that - a HOME, not just a place to lay your head at night. Located in popular Piney Island, which happens to be the closest community to Assateague National Seashore, you will love Island Sage's quiet and peaceful location on a cul-de-sac, yet still close to everywhere you long to be. Wild Ponies, Beach Combing, and one of the most gorgeous beaches in our country are just a short stroll or bike ride away! Did you know that Assaeague National Seashore is the most visited National Park in our country? Spend a little time here and you will discover why this is.....
Surrounded by Magnolia Trees, this lovely home truly makes you feel at one with nature. You'll love relaxing on the huge Screened Porch - a great place to enjoy some Fresh Local Crabs or the Fresh Catch of the Day, which with any luck, was caught by you! Island Sage offers lots of privacy, yet puts you in the heart of everything wonderful about Chincoteague Island.
As you enter Island Sage, you will feel right away how loved this Home is by its Owners, who have had it in their Family for many years. Enjoy relaxing in the spacious Living Room - Brand New Flat Screen Cable TV and Free WiFi coming Spring 2020! Plenty of room to enjoy time with those you love without ever feeling crowded. Craving a little "adult time"? The kiddos can have their own Movie Time in the Den, which also features a Queen Sleeper Sofa and Flat Screen Cable TV.
The Chef in your group will love the Well-Stocked Kitchen with all you need to make mealtime a bay breeze. Dine indoors in the Dining Area, or Al Fresco on the Screened Porch, which is just off the Kitchen. You can even grill some burgers on the Charcoal Grill while listening to the Tree Frogs sing. In general it was a nice place for a few days. We always remove our shoes to respect the home, the floors were filthy, in a very short time our socks were very dirty.I would have liked a few comfortable chairs on the screened in porch to relax, not just a table with chairs. Also, the screen on the porch was ripped so those darn mosquitoes were horrible to the point you really could not spend time on the porch.For the few days we were there it met our needs.
