Take a walk down some of the streets and see the beautiful Victorian architecture unique to this neighborhood. Downtown Detroit is about a mile away- a short drive or nice walk. Place was very clean and beautifully finished. Location worked out very well for Lions game and downtown activities.Only suggestions are better pillow options , the ones on our bed were too hard, and a Keurig coffee maker.

Went to visit son and friends in Detroit! This place was very safe, quiet and we walked to coffee shops, restaurants, and downtown to Cadillac Lodge (Christmas village downtown)! Hosts were wonderful, house was very cute and comfortable! Will definitely rent again!

The house was great, unfortunately the neighborhood is not the best. We were part of an active crime scene the first day and there were cars drag racing the second night. The overall area is okay, but did not feel comfortable walking at night.
