About this house rental
Beautiful 4 BR 2 full bath house 90 minutes from Chicago but a world away. Nestled on a private dirt road with nature all around and the Lake across the street, it's a perfect 4-season retreat. Large yard, swing set, private tennis court and breathtaking Lake Michigan Sunsets.
In Stevensville, Michigan, 10 minute drive to downtown St. Joseph. Near restaurants, shopping, breweries, and only a 40 minute drive to Notre Dame.

The space
Main room downstairs includes a seating area with large windows with lake views, wall-mounted TV with Netflix/Amazon/etc. Separate dining area and standard kitchen.
Master bedroom upstairs with king bed connected to bathroom (Jack & Jill). Bedroom #2 across hall with two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king. Bedroom #3 is downstairs (main floor) with a king bed and great lake views with bathroom (tub/shower combo) adjacent.
The basement is unfinished (drywall walls, no finished ceiling, no flooring but throw rugs) with laundry (washer/dryer), and ping-pong table.
Sprawling front yard with lake views and lots of space; a fire pit area (bring marshmallows for s'mores). Back yard abuts tennis/pickleball court.
Guest access
Technically, this is a 4 bedroom home, but we have one bedroom set off as a locked "owners room" with personal items (thus we are posting it as a 3 bedroom home). You'll have the entire house to yourself minus this one room.
Other things to note
Four season property -- there is so much to do in SW Michigan including famous beaches, adorable downtown St. Joseph with shops and restaurants, fall foliage, winter sports, breweries, wineries, apple picking -- the options are endless.
Famous Tosi's Italian restaurant and companion Bit of Swiss bakery are an easy and scenic one-quarter mile walk (or drive) away.
There is a wonderful scenic lookout at the end of Glenlord Road (one quarter mile walk from the house). However please note that the properties on Lake Forest Path -- even the vacant ones -- are privately owned and are strictly off limits. Please understand no trespassing to respect the neighbors; areas include dangerous bluff drop offs.
