The property was an amazing spot for our trip with young children. We loved the pool, and being so close to the beach!One downside was that the beds available were terribly uncomfortable. The master bedroom mattress had a huge dip on one side (so much so that I couldn’t see my husband laying under the covers next to me in the middle of the night). The pull out bed in the living room was not any better. Unfortunately the best sleep had on our trip was had on the love seat sofa. I was also aware this was a pet friendly rental, but I wasn’t prepared for the amount of pet hair in the condo. It almost seemed as if the rug had not been vacuumed. Our socks were covered with pet hair within minutes of arriving and kicking off our shoes. On the positive side was the communication of the host. Check-in was a breeze, and we were even offered a complimentary early check in.

The property is great. Pool is nice. The keypad on the door did not work. There is a separate key holder and 3 sets of keys. One for the door, one for the closet and one for the pool. (Lots of keys to remember on vacation!) The front door automatically locks when shut, so if you don’t have the set of keys you are locked out! We had to get a locksmith to get back in. 130 fee we did not intend on.

Door handle would not stay on when entering. Not correct blind on entry door. Both coffee makers did not work, so purchased a coffee maker, batteries for remotes, can opener and soaps for washer and dish washer. Rugs are not in good shape for making it homey and also the couch is in poor quality. I did say a few other units that looked much better. The pool was great and the grills were in good shape.

Very well maintained; very clean; full size refrigerator was great for long-term stay. The on-site pool was beautiful and clean and easily accessible. Padre Island National Seashore is only a 15-20 minute drive. Local beaches are only minutes away. A wonderful place to relax and unwind.
