Welcome to Casa Marina, your port on the water! This canal home getaway is located just outside of the Houston area and will give you a much-needed escape from the commotion of city life.
With a wildlife refuge on each side and literally encircled by water, the possibilities for your vacation are endless! This tight knit community has dozens of amenities from a community pool and hot tub to tennis courts and a movie theater, it is the perfect choice for you and your family. Or bring along up to 7 friends and create memories you will treasure for years to come.
If you would like to keep things fairly low-key, there are plenty of outlet shops to pique your interests as well as a handful of museums. Moody Gardens is a kid friendly venue that boasts an amusement park as well as an aquarium overflowing with flora, fauna, and aquatic creatures, plus a stunning rainforest! The Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier will entice folks of all ages with all of your favorite boardwalk eats, old-fashioned waterfront rides as well as all the games you can play. You can simply walk the pier and take in the sights, make sure you bring your camera!
Staying a little closer to home, being right on the marina has loads of waterfront bonuses. If you want first-hand experience, book any type of excursion you can think of – snorkling, scuba diving, kayaking, jet ski rentals, parasailing, you can even take a boat out and try your hand at deep sea fishing! With 1400 square feet you have plenty of space to spread out amongst the 3 bedrooms. The master suite has a king-sized bed and a full bathroom attached while another bedroom highlights a queen and a set of bunk beds – flip a coin to see who gets the top! There is a full kitchen if you wish to have a homemade dinner in or pack your snacks for your outings, Casa Marina has it all! Please turn off the dock lights at night.

The Sea Isle Pool is open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Guests must call Sea Isle HOA at 409-737-2438 to obtain pool passes. The pool passes are 10 for $100. They are open Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.

It was a great property for the price and, had way more amenities than we realized such as a Lilly pad, sup, and more! The house was clean and well taken care of. It’s not the fanciest place on the block but I would def book again.

House was in a great location far enough away from the tourist section of Galveston. However beach access just a short distance away.
Restaurants right across from the canal from us was delish and great entertainment.
Beautiful home.
Only complaint was I could not get ahold of property manager. We couldn’t figure out how to roll up the hurricane shutters. So we didn’t have access to the tiki bar downstairs, or the front porch.
Lock box can be tricky as all the salt water must gunk it up. The basement was flooded which we were unaware of prior to our stay. There was no coffee, master bedroom toilet had a small leak which ran on the floor, nothing major.
The Rokus and Apply tv boxes were unplugged for some reason. So after 30 min of not knowing why the tvs weren’t working we figured it out.
All which are not major issues and be dealt with since we had a short stay! Had I stayed for a week or longer these would had been an inconvenience.
I did message the host, but didn’t call. So that is on me.
Overall a great stay! Would stay again! Love the location!
