Nestled in Surfside Beach, you`re always close to the sun, sand, and surf. Enjoy the natural beauty at Surfside Jetty County Park and the Surfside Beach Bird and Butterfly Trail. For local attractions, visit the Surfside Crabbing Pier, Freeport Historical Museum, and Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary. You`ll find a variety of dining and shopping options nearby. For recreation, explore Surfside Marina and Stahlman Park.
Best way to get to Surfside is to drive. However, once you’re here, set it and forget it! You can park under the building or in the driveway. You can walk everywhere if you like.
Important Information:
• Unit Access: You will be staying in Unit 2 of the duplex.
• Quiet Hours: Respect quiet hours between 10 PM and 9 AM. Parties are not allowed. A maximum of 6 guests per unit, including children.
• Pet Policy: Up to 2 house-trained dogs under 20 lbs with a $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet. Pets must be house trained and crated when left unattended indoors. Not allowed outside or unattended overnight. Additional $75 fee for undeclared pets.
• Security: Outdoor security cameras in use.
• Parking: Park underneath your unit, in the driveway, or along Beach Drive. Free street parking available.
• House Rules: No smoking allowed. Guests must be 25 years or older to book.
We only allow a maximum of 2 dogs under 20 pounds. Please note that there`s a $100/pet non-refundable pet fee, and they must be kept from being left outside or anywhere on the property unattended or overnight, as this is against the city ordinance. They can`t be left inside unattended unless they are crated or kennel. You can keep your dog on a leash when they are outside, but please make sure to pick up after them. Please note that if you or someone in your party uses self-tanner, you should bring your own linens. We have learned the hard way that self-tanner ruins our linens, and we have to charge for damaged linens.

The location of this rental is phenomenal. The deck is perfect for enjoying sunrises and moonrises, and for watching the surfers. Walk down the beach in either direction at low tide, at high tide beach walks are best done to the northeast, towards Galveston, where the beach is wider.
The view from the main living area is stunning, though one of the four picture windows has a broken seal, clouding the glass and obstructing the view. We visited in late February, so much of the time the weather permitted keeping the door open so we could hear the surf. We wished there was a storm door with a screen so we could have the door open without letting in mosquitoes (thankfully the blood-suckers seem to prefer ground level).
Previous renter(s) failed to notify the host of some problems; host was very appreciative when I brought a few things to her attention.
Beds are comfortable enough. Kitchen is suitably equipped. Sofas weren’t particularly comfortable for evening movie viewing but we made due.
