One of my favorite features of this two-story home is that it backs to conservation for extra privacy while relaxing in the pool (the other may be that, when looking through the trees out front, you can see a bit of Disney's fireworks). I'll list some of the amenities in the home and the community below. As we are working on updates, should you find that the home is missing something you need during your stay, please let us know and we will try to have it shipped to the house for your convenience.
The home offers:
* 6 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms * a main floor ensuite * an ensuite upstairs * a half bath and laundry room off the main entrance * screened enclosure around the pool (the pool can be heated $20 per day) * 8 smart TVs, one in all the bedrooms, the living room, and on the lanai * new linens * new couch * ping pong table & games in the garage (can be moved if you want to park in there)

This spacious home welcomes traveling families ready to have the trip of a lifetime in Orlando. Between a location only minutes from Disney World, endless resort amenities, and your very own private pool (heated $20 per day), your family is sure to make lasting memories with plenty of laid-back moments in between. Your screened-in pool area with lounge chairs all around is bordered by beautiful trees, making this private oasis all the more relaxing.
Inside, the open concept living area features ample seating, large smart tv, and popcorn machine making for a realistic cinema feel. When imaginations are active, you may feel transported into the worlds of your favorite Disney characters during movie nights, which makes meeting those characters at the parks even more magical.
The bright kitchen is a part of the home where you’ll conveniently prepare poolside snacks or dinners at home. Share meals at the formal dining table while reliving your favorite parts of the day, and wind down with a pleasant evening walk through the private neighborhood or on the resort’s nature trail.
This home sleeps 12 guests in 6 private bedrooms, there's also a sofa sleeper in the gaming area and 2 cots available.
Bedroom #1 is the primary suite on the main floor with a king size bed, smart tv, direct patio access, and ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom #2 is classic black & white decor with some of Disney's Dalmatians, a queen size bed, smart tv, and ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom #3 has a full size bed, smart tv, and a Nintendo theme for the gamers of your group.
Harry Potter lovers will gravitate towards Bedroom #4 with magical artwork, a full size bed, and smart tv.
Bedroom #5 transports you to the world of Up with lifelike wall art, 2 twin size beds, and smart tv.
And it wouldn’t be a Disney trip without a classic Mickey Mouse room like Bedroom #6 with 2 twin size beds and smart tv.

Emerald Island Resort is now charging $20 per vehicle per stay. All amenities are included during your stay.

A great location with Disney World and all of its rides and attractions only 5 miles away. The fun doesn’t stop when you leave the parks with endless resort amenities right outside your door. Enjoy the exclusive clubhouse, playground for kids, private nature trail, fitness center, sauna, heated pool, hot tub, sand volleyball, and sports courts. In addition to the fun you’ll have on property, and exploring Disney parks, other nearby attractions include Disney Springs (no reservation or ticket needed), Universal Studios, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Island H2O Water Park, Lake Kissimmee State Park, Fun Spot America Theme Park, ICON Park, and so much shopping & dining. Being centrally-located between the Gulf Coast and the Space Coast gives even more to do! This property was perfect for our vacation. We had a few hiccups with some things, but the homeowners were very responsive. We wish the pool would have been fixed while we were there. We understand that things happen. Thankfully the clubhouse wasn’t very far away from the home that the kids could enjoy swimming in the warm weather. All in all we had a great time and like I said the homeowners were very helpful and responsive! We will definitely book again! Plenty of room for everyone!

We stayed at this property during our Christmas break with grandparents and extended family. It was absolutely wonderful. The home itself was excellent. There were plenty of beds and baths. While we spent a lot of time at the Disney parks, we enjoyed playing ping pong in the game room and card/board games in the dining area. Our niece had a toddler (15 months), and there was a high seat and Pack N Play available. The home was excellent, and neighborhood and location were perfect. We were so close to Animal Kingdom that we did not even go through one of the "entering Disney" signs. We went during a time when parks were sold out and packed, yet if was typically only 15-25 minutes from the driveway to any park. For those unfamiliar with Disney, it can sometimes take longer to get to the parks if you are staying on property. The neighborhood was the best park. We have stayed in several locations in the Orlando area. This place felt like a home. We could walk to the playground, clubhouse pool, and mini golf. There is a nature walk just around the corner. The resort felt very private and safe. The hosts were very responsive to any needs. We are already looking at our calendar to book this place again. Highly, highly recommend!!

Plenty of room. House needs some updates and lanai screen needs repaired if you have a pet.Grill was rusted and unusable due to age and owners replaced it.Maria handles cleanings and her son Gabriel is a wo derful pet sitter if you need one.
