Apartment on James

Spacious apartment with lovely views of the town and the bay from inside the apartment as well as from the large balcony. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and the spacious bathroom offers soft fluffy towels and quality toiletries. The laundry is a bonus and the outside back yard includes a BBQ. The position is ideal, it's an easy walk to the town centre for shopping and to the coastline walking track. We enjoyed a very comfortable and delightful 3 days here.

Central location, well furnished

Could very easily hear the upstairs neighbours (they weren’t intentionally noisy) talking kids crying and walking. Could do with some insulation/soundproofing.

The place was nice no complaints about this, nice views, very homely, had all you could want and a little more

Bad communication from owner. Then when you arrive it’s a bit of issue lugging your gear up a narrow staircase, especially if you are elderly. At around 4pm we had people turn up staying in the upstairs unit - And all we could hear for just over 2 hours was people walking around like a heard of elephants. It was by this time we had enough, and I sent a message to the owner! It again started again for my wife’s elderly parents at about 5am and continued on into the morning. We were all awake because of the people upstairs just after 7am no one could sleep any further. All I can say is that had the owner told us of this situation we probably wouldn’t have stayed there. Adding insult to injury is the fact that we had made arrangements for the owner to organise a seafood platter on arrival. This was because we were married 2 days prior and I wanted to surprise my new wife - but when we got there nothing. When I asked her about it- I was basically told we could go and get it ourselves- I certainly won’t be staying there again.
