Basic apartman in a very nice area

The accommodation is set in a very beautiful environment, with stunning mountains surrounding the village. There are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby.

The apartment’s equipment is very basic. There was no clothes dryer, so it was difficult to hang out the wet towels. The restaurant did not accept card payments, so we didn’t eat there. Checking into the room was a bit difficult.

Perfect for a Weekend Ski Trip

Everything - location was excellent! Across the road from the gondola and après-ski bar. Restaurant on site - great for breakfasts. Has everything you need for a weekend ski trip. The big 8 person apartments are an excellent use of space with a loft-style mezzanine that sleeps 4. Be aware, there is no washing machine - expected as it wasn’t advertised, but good to know if going for longer ski trips.

A good choice for a long weekend break without the need to get the bus to/from Scheffau village. No car necessary.

The location opposite the Sheffield ski lifts, and easy walk to the excellent Donatello Italian restaurant and GATT ski hire shop was all very good. It was a pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk into Scheffau to the bank and Spar shop either along the road or up a nice path beside the stream. The apartment was clean and well furnished with cooking utensils (hob and fridge but no oven which was ok) but no washing up liquid! The beds were comfy with memory foam-like mattresses.

Service in the restaurant in the evening was very slow mainly due to lack of staff. Clearly Covid had impacted numbers and I presume staff was minimal as a consequence. They did not speak English which is unusual these days, although not a complaint. They took cash only which was also a theme in the on-piste restaurants as well. This was a surprise after the UK has gone almost completely cash-free as a result of Covid.

Good

My low score is a reflection on Booking.com and not the hotel. One online ad says there is free WiFi, but the hotel does not offer an internet connection. It’s perfectly OK not to have WiFi, but the ad should say so. Had we known this, we would not have stayed at the hotel because my son works online while traveling. Also, they only take cash. That may have been stated in the ad, but I didn’t notice it. Fortunately, there is an ATM a few minutes away.

Exceptional

I liked the flexibility of the hostess, early breakfast times were not a problem. And a sudden change in our travel itinerary caused no problem. The breakfast table is rich and a welcome sight after a good night sleep. I highly recommend this place!

Super Lage, direkt an der Piste, sehr nettes Personal und ein liebevoll hergerichtetes Frühstück Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber

Es wäre schön eine Seife im Bad zu haben und Salz und Pfeffer, ansonsten völlig zufriedenstellend

De locatie t.o.v. de ski-lift is perfect! Appartement was schoon en functioneel. Heel handig dat er ook een restaurant bij zit.

Prettig verblijf op een mooie locatie, wij komen graag terug.

Het is een leuk appartement met een goede toegankelijkheid en een ligging dicht bij de pistes. Wij hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad. Het appartement was mooi en schoon en voor ons tweeën zeker ruim genoeg. Onze ski uitrusting konden we gemakkelijk kwijt in de daarvoor bedoelde ruimte. Al met al een prettig verblijf.

de FAQ stond dat elk appartement een keuken heeft, maar dit is bij de tweepersoonskamer niet het geval. Dit komt doordat Booking.com het als tweepersoonsappartement weergeeft, wat verwarrend kan zijn. Daardoor hebben wij ons hierin vergist, maar dit ligt niet aan de mensen ter plaatse. De enige tip die ik zou willen meegeven, is om iets vaker op Booking.com te kijken voor eventuele berichten. Met hoe druk ze het daar hebben, vonden wij dat echter geen groot probleem. Wij komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug.

De locatie maakt het voor skiën top!

Locatie is top, weg oversteken en je bent bij de skilift.

Geen wifi in het appartement; Warm water was in de avonden schaars; Een slaapkamer vd twee slaapkamers had geen raam naar buiten toe.

Perfecte ligging pal tegenover de skilift, rustige weg, voorheen de hoofdweg. Maar door de tunnel voor het overige verkeer top. Jammer dat hier geen echte apres ski is, 1 tentje onderaan de piste maar weinig sfeer.

Er stond in de beschrijving 2 slaapbanken ( 4 personen ) maar het verrassende was, het zoldertje, open naar de eetkamer toe. Waar onze kinderen mooi konden slapen… incl infrarood sauna, nooit gebruikt trouwens Met 8 personen 1 douche en 1 wc is krap zat. Niet heel ruim maar prima. Keuken is zeer eenvoudig en klein. Geen vaatwasser Wel een airfryer, handdoeken 1x schonen gekregen, koffiezetapparaat waterkoker… Bakkertje 500 meter de berg op, lekker brood Wij gingen met de auto, maar ook lopend te doen… supermarkt in scheffau is klein en weinig keus. Maar in Ellmau een grotere, daar ook leuke apres ski

Flexibel in aankomst en vertrek.

De bedden waren prima, het restaurant ook. De eenpersoons infrarood sauna was een leuk extraatje. Het is een effectieve plek als je wilt gaan skiën. Boekbaar van maandag tot maandag.

Vanuit kamer 25 heb je geen uitzicht op de piste. Het meubilair is aan vervanging toe. Voor een appartement voor 8 personen ontbreekt er eea in het keukentje (wijnglazen, ontbijt lepeltjes, kommetjes. De omgeving doet nogal industrieel aan; met het Eni tankstation als overbuurman. Ook voor de après ski kan je beter naar een ander dorp gaan. Als je in de sneeuw wilt wandelen, is er "boven" niet veel te beleven. Het dorpje is een stevige wandeling omhoog langs de autoweg.

Top Lage für alle, die Skifahren wollen, nah am Lift.

Gefühlt wenig Instandhaltung, Tür vom WC, ließ sich nicht schließen, geschweige denn abschließen. Ausstattung Küche eher etwas dürftig.

Schöner Aufenthalt!

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Skiraum beheizt. Der Mitarbeiter war total nett. Abendessen war total lecker, obwohl die Bewertungen bei einschlägigen Portalen was anderes sagen. Können wir nicht nachvollziehen! Nur die Speisekarte sollte aufgrund zu zahlreichen Rechtschreibfehler mal überarbeitet werden!

Im Sommer würde mich die fehlenden Verdunklungsmöglichkeiten zum Schlafen stören! Im Winter aber kein Problem!

Proprietate/han vechi, un apartament cu două camere dotat f simplu. Paturile sunt extrem de scurte (incomode pentru oricine are peste 1.70 m). Probleme cu căldura. Încălzirea prin pardoseală este insuficientă, termostatul este defect, iar lipsa caloriferelor face imposibilă uscarea echipamentului de schi. Calorifer este doar in baie. În camera pentru depozitarea clăparilor nu sunt suficiente incălzitoare. Nu există coșuri de gunoi, cuier sau suport de prosoape în baie. Gazdă neprietenoasă care ignoră sesizările. Check-in-ul este exclusiv digital (QR code), iar meniul restaurantului este disponibil doar în limba germană. Wi-fi este f slab, inexistent in camere, Nu se acceptă plata cu cardul.
