Beautiful building, great location, clean.
Echo chamber, constant door buzzing people of all hours, footsteps, loud guests. There should be a sign asking guests to be mindful of voices carrying and to be quiet. Earplugs provided in room weren’t good enough to block out voices, doors opening and closing, loud street noises.

24/7 security staff and very friendly.
Well designed interiors and always had a smell of fresh flowers throughout the building
Clean and well appointed modern rooms with decent bathrooms and hot showers
Anzures is a great location in general and this place is no exception. Would highly recommend. We stayed 5 nights

Great location, friendly doorman, cute hotel. El Otro Cafe is around the corner is convenient and has good coffee and chilaquiles. You can walk to the museum of Anthropology in mere minutes.
Honestly not much. It’s not the most sound proof but everyone was quiet so it wasn’t a big deal.

We booked a taxi through Booking.com to take us to the Hotel, but the taxi never showed up. Thankfully, we contacted Booking.com and refunded our cost for a taxi. When we arrived, we were told that we had been upgraded to a bigger room. It was fantastic.
There was a shutdown of water. It was repaired after several hours.

The location is excellent and the building is very nice.
The room was noisy and humid, you couldn’t open the windows. The reception was basically not existent.

Location was great! Tucked away but close to Reforma and Chapultepec! Hotel was really pretty!
No escalator

The hot water in the shower lasted only for a minute or two and then it went back to very cold

Location was very good - between Polanco and Condesa. Walking distance to all tourist places. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are well equipped.
The room we stayed in (24) was very dark, as the window was facing the stairs. In result there was no sunlight and room was very cold (even during the day, when the temperature hit 24 degrees Celsius, the room was very cold. This might seem like not an issue in Mexico, but the November nights tend to get really cold out there). Humidity in the room was extreme, in result the clothes absorbed a lot of water and were kinda stinky.

A little noisy

It was a good location.
Our deluxe double room was located on the ground floor next to the main entrance which meant we heard everyone arrive and talk (which happened a lot during the night) and we didn’t have any privacy ourselves. The room was only cleaned with extra charge. The receptionist told us we could take out the trash ourselves and ask for clean towels at the reception desk. The room was poorly ventilated so the air was always musty.

Location
Is not a hotel…is more like an air b&b

I liked that the property had 24 hour security and the room was pretty large and comfortable. I also liked that there were lots of good food options nearby and convenience stores
There was no AC, the street was a tiny bit loud

Property was in a secure area and clean. Front staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
This property lacked an elevator. Several stairs and very narrow. The water was cold first couple of days then it was burning hot the rest of the stay.

Very happy to have stayed here. We cooked breakfast every day and enjoyed the location. Slept well. Liked having the balcony for the light. As our room happened to be ready and we had to work online, we were very kindly allowed a couple of hours early into the room, which was very helpful.

Location, the style of the casona
Extremely noisy, no window to open (wet room), shower with problem , too much LED lighting (no comfortable)

Good location
It's a bit of a Ryanair hotel, they don't charge for the use of toilet but that's about it, everything else is extra cost. You arrive before 4pm? You can't have your room, you want to leave your luggages at reception? There's an extra charge... your room is in poor condition with plugs hanging out of the wall? Changing rooms is extra...
If you like flying Ryanair, you'll love casa Castillo, if you don't...

Casa Castillo is a charming welcoming beautiful boutique hotel. The location is perfect for exploring around!
The staff is warm and friendly! This is our second stay at Casa Castillo! We definitely be back again!
The room was a bit small #10

Location is great. Unique boutique hotel. Staff were nice and helpful. Surprisingly quiet although it’s off a busy road the noise wasn’t excessive. Bed was a bit firm for my taste but the pillows were perfect. I slept well once I adjusted to the firm bed.
A/C is a fan. I had to leave the bathroom window and patio door open for a cool breeze. No elevator and the room they put me in (as the room I had booked was occupied) was on the 4th floor.

Clean & friendly
Not the location as described, we wanted to stay near the airport but it was in Mexico City & a long drive from the airport. They send us a link for airport transfers but the driver never showed up & altough we paid for this pick up we had to order another taxi. Only one bedside table in our room🥵

The uniqueness of the building and location. I was able to walk to all my favorite spots.
Though I was warned about the noise beforehand, the first night was a little loud.

Very well located. Exceptionally clean. Lovely little hot plate and refrigerator located in the room. We were located in a corner room, facing in one direction the main street, and it wasn’t too loud. I can see it being difficult for a light sleeper (probably would require ear plugs, which were provided in the room), but I didn’t have any trouble.
Got somewhat warm at night despite our nice fan/air purifier in the room. I think it was simply from a mattress cover that was trapping in my insensible losses under the blanket!

The staff was WONDERFUL: so kind and forthcoming.... a special thank you to the two men at reception - early and night shift that were nothing but polite and always present to help.
AC could have been installed in the room for the relatively hot Mexico City days.

The place was very clean, the staff were professional, kind and helpful. Jose, Alma and Giovanni were all wonderful.
I am guessing housekeeping left the first floor wonder of my room open and I did not realize it. I was awake all night. This was horrifying especially since I was stay with my child on the first floor and this made me feel very unsafe.

Location is wonderfull, you can walk to Chapultepec, Pase de la Reforma and more. Multiple pace to eat are near and the staff is wonderful.
Water instalations have multiple and wird sound, nothing huge but sometime this is uncorfortable.

The room was spotless and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Good location.
We had a small issue with the shower not having hot water for about 40 minutes. After the staff checked this issue for us it got sorted. It was just a bit of discomfort having to wait for so long after a tiring day of walking

Near to Polanco area, nice modern villa with 24/7 security, modern amenities in the room.
Noise from the street, damp smell in the room - it needs better ventilation. Bed sheets could be better - they are just wrapped around the cover, so they slip off.

Super clean, bed very comfy, everything you need in the room and the location is great.
I had a room next to the reception and main entrance so I was awake very early and couldn't sleep anymore due to all the noise on the ground floor. Make sure you stay upstairs.

Good location in a nice neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. Walking distance from Paseo Reforma. Clean and comfortable rooms, good wifi and bathrooms, nice shower and terrace.
Staff wasn't the most helpful at times.

There was no breakfast offered. Room was good but the location of the room was not good as both windows opened to the street and I couldn’t even open the curtains as people are all over.
No one spoke English . It was extremely difficult to communicate. The safety locker couldn’t be opened the night before I left. I was up till early morning trying to get them to bring in a mechanic and ultimately after hours of struggle, they had to break open the locker. It was an anxious night I had without knowing the language !

The location was excellent for my plans, the place was clean and comfortable, the staff was very attentive, overall it was a good stay, I liked the room and all the appliances. Very recommended.
The shower kept changing the temperature from extreme hot to cold, I had to wait like 7 minutes with the water running at first to get hot water, after I got the temperature right suddenly it changed to cold again and had to wait another 2 min to get hot water again, so this wasn't that good, but after a few tries I could get the water on stable temperature. All the other things were great.
Bring your earplugs for sleeping, the noise that comes from the halls is very perceptible and when phone rings you can hear it all, but it wasn't a big problem for me.

The room was large enough and very clean, nice design.
No one spoke English at the reception, hard to communicate…. There was no room service, as I was only two nights it was not critical. Maybe one has to ask for (?)
