This is a well located hostel in San Pedro with some nice outdoor social areas and well decorated rooms.

Sadly this hostel didn't live up to our expectations. Firstly on arrival after 12 hours of travelling we were left on the street because the doorbell seems to not work. When we got inside we were told to wait another 15 minutes for no obvious reason. The room itself was freezing cold and the window didn't fully close which didn't help matters. The pool was closed, which was one of the main draws of booking this place. The main door to the hostel opens directly into the communal kitchen area which unfortunately is a very unfriendly place to be, it was almost always full of the volunteers who actively ignored us and made us feel very unwelcome. We were checking out early, but this is standard in San Pedro as most tours start at 4/5am. On entering reception the girl managing the desk was lying on a sofa under a blanket and would barely even look at us never mind get up as we tried to leave our keys and check for our bus, it felt incredibly rude.
